Xploit In Hungary In November 2012 the Xploit project will visit the community of Nagykovácsi near Budapest in Hungary. The Hungarian partner is developing interesting entrepreneurship initiatives most valuable to the Xploit project.

Resources for disengaged youth! The EU project LABlearning is providing valuable resources for establishing media and project based laboratories for disengaged youth across Europe. The resources are extremely useful to learning communities.

The 3 year Xploit project aims to build capacity in local communities to develop into learning communities by addressing lifelong learning at a systematic level, exploiting European learning resources and along these processes establish new communication infrastructures in the communities. Communities from Spain (Salt Catalonia), the UK (Swansea), Hungary (Nagykovácsi), Italy (Udine) and Romania (Iasi) are the Xploit practice communities. The project is coordinated in Denmark, and Die Berater from Austria is the project’s quality assurance partner. The Xploit project participates in open dialogues on learning cities at European and global level. http://www.xploit-eu.com

Learning Cities visit from Australia In July 2012 Peter Kearns from Australia and the PASCAL Observatory will visit the Xploit coordinator in Denmark.
