Badami,Karnataka Site Area: 1.5 Acre THE INTERPRETATION CENTRE The Interpretation centre is proposed, for the dissemination of knowledge about the cultural heritage of Badami, Which was the capital of Chalukyan’s and famous for it’s rock cut temple architecture. The site is located near the Badami cave and having view towards the Agasthya lake .The structure was designed on the basis of the surrounding context of the town such that it blends with the surrounding. There was an excisting cave in the site which was converted into an outdoor gallery and Amphitheatre is designed such that it doesn’t block the view from the Lake.

Dashranth Nagar Manipal-Alevoor RD Site Area:320m.sq THE KHAN RESIDENCE The Site is located in a residential zone near Manipal Lake,Which leads to a temple and a waterfall

RESIDENCE DESIGN

The proposal was a teacher housing project.It was designed for a family of 4 members.The main entrance is inviting into the Drawingroom and then directed to a Family living cum dining space, where a open kitchen is designed close to it for better communication. Courtyard is connected with the dining space through a sliding glass door when left open helps with air circulation

interior design renproject in Manipal.

Converting the old foodstall into a Student Co-working space for students to interact and exchange ideas and work space for them. Designed flexible space such that at particular times of the year it can be converted into workshop or exhibition space for students to work and exhbit their products.

By providing comfortable indoor space with Innovative Techs and Comfortable furniture,It will become a place to interact,work and explore the interest of the students paving way for there future development

SITE PLAN Vistas help in directing the views towards the student co-workingspace. Seatings are provided along the trees such that at night it becomes active.Curtain wall is provided in the front for getting for visual connectivity

LOCATION: Kanjirapally, Kottayam, Kerala The project was a renovation project that I got an opportunity to work on during the beginning of Third year of Architecture. This residence belonged to my grandfather which was built in 1967. It was designed with respect to the site context and considering the climatic condition of the area.The addition which incorporates the extension at the rear of the house which consist of new dining space, kitchen,commontoilet,work area and stairs leading to the first floor.The previous kitchen was converted into a bedroom and by creating a small changes in opening placement privacy is created. Old Manglore tile was reused for the present roof
