UNIQUE IN BELGIUM
YOU
YOU ARE A GLOBETROTTER You are hooked on international encounters and foreign cultures.
You, a globetrotter? That’s the understatement of the century! You love being ‘on the road’ and discovering new things. And your latest discovery? The wonderful world of Tourism & Leisure. Your mission? To guarantee that others experience the time of their lives abroad. Do you want an international internship and to study abroad? And do you feel at ease speaking English? Great! Enrol and make your dreams come true.
YOUR EDUCATION
100% IN ENGLISH Versatility, international experiences and cultural awareness rule! You’ll be taught and coached by Belgian and foreign professionals. You’ll do an internship abroad and learn the tricks of your trade in an international context. You can either look for an internship yourself or take your pick from our comprehensive international database. The result? At the end of your final semester, you’ll be ready for the real deal, all set to chase your dreams.
STUDY IN ENGLISH? You can prove you are reasonably proficient at speaking and writing English (level B2 European Framework)? No doubt, just enrol and start! In the end English becomes your mother tongue.
TEACHING METHODS The programme includes lectures, case studies, intern projects, group work, assignments, an international study exchange and internship.
YOUR EXPERIENCE ADDED VALUE You’ll be part of an international class. So you’ll experience the true meaning of ‘interculturality’ every day. No course book or syllabus can top that. You’ll get to know professionals from all over the world and build your international network from day one. The world becomes your new home. Future proof? Check!
GO MORE Are you an expert in coming up with new ideas for tour operators to attract youngsters? Then we want to see you at Go More, the place to be on campus for young professionals with an entrepreneurial spirit!
TRAVEL MORE You’ll organise international trips for our lecturers, and you’ll be responsible for all customer service events, from reservation to worst-case scenario communication. In other words, life as it is at a travel agency!
PRACTICUM Need more hands-on experience? No problem! Choose your preference from our practica: Business Travel & Aviation, Touroperating & Leisure, ‘Travel More & Go More’ or discover what real hospitality is like in your international study exchange semester.
YOUR FUTURE
WORKING AROUND THE GLOBE Internationally active in a fastgrowing and dynamic sector.
Your limit? The sky … and beyond. You want a fascinating and eventful job in an international context. If that means moving abroad, great! From tour operators to airline companies, you feel at home amongst the main players of the tourism industry.
With your bachelor’s degree in International Tourism & Leisure, you will be very competitive in the job market. Or you could even start your own business. During your training, you’ll deepen your understanding of tourism and leisure and might discover the entrepreneur in you. • • • • • • • • • • •
