Thomas Nelson started the company in Scotland in 1798 by publishing the Bible in thirty-two-page installments, enabling people of all classes to access the Word of God much more easily. From humble beginnings in a village in Scotland 200 years ago to our modern-day publishing enterprise, Thomas Nelson's goal has been to Honor God and Serve People.
