Coin Was Never Meant to be
In 1986, President Ronald Reagan authorized the creation of America’s first silver bullion coin the American Silver Eagle. Surprisingly, this new American Silver Dollar struck in one ounce of 99 9% pure silver has become America’s mostcollected coin, during its 37-year history, selling over one-half billion coins!
The coin’s popularity came as a surprise! Designed to satisfy those wishing to own pure silver, the Silver Eagle’s beautiful historic Walking Liberty obverse (front), paired with the heraldic eagle design by modern numismatic legend John Mercanti on the reverse (back), proved to be extremely popular among collectors as well!

What he’s been told: A retired aircraft engineer in California built it It may have a twin somewhere It has had at least five owners It has Crosley suspension parts
It does still have California black plates, last stickered in 1971, and he has been able to get it moving with lithium batteries Other than that, he’s at a loss Does anybody recognize this angular electric?
