Jingle Bells
D
ashing through the snow In a one-horse open sleigh O’er the fields we go Laughing all the way
Bells on bobtails ring Making spirits bright What fun it is to ride and sing A sleighing song tonight Jingle bells, jingle bells Jingle all the way Oh, what fun it is to ride In a one-horse open sleigh, hey Jingle bells, jingle bells Jingle all the way Oh, what fun it is to ride In a one-horse open sleigh A day or two ago I thought I'd take a ride And soon, Miss Fanny Bright Was seated by my side 13
The horse was lean and lank Misfortune seemed his lot He got into a drifted bank And then we got upsot Jingle bells, jingle bells Jingle all the way Oh, what fun it is to ride In a one-horse open sleigh, hey Jingle bells, jingle bells Jingle all the way Oh, what fun it is to ride In a one-horse open sleigh A day or two ago The story I must tell I went out on the snow And on my back I fell A gent was riding by In a one-horse open sleigh He laughed as there I sprawling lie But quickly drove away 14

Angels We Have Heard on High
A
ngels we have heard on high Sweetly singing o’er the plains And the mountains in reply Echoing their joyous strains Gloria in excelsis Deo! Gloria in excelsis Deo!
Shepherds, why this jubilee? Why your joyous strains prolong? What the gladsome tidings be? Which inspire your heavenly songs? Gloria in excelsis Deo! Gloria in excelsis Deo! Come to Bethlehem and see Him whose birth the angels sing; Come, adore on bended knee, Christ the Lord, the newborn King. Gloria in excelsis Deo! Gloria in excelsis Deo!
17
See Him in a manger laid, Jesus, Lord of heaven and earth; Mary, Joseph, lend your aid, With us sing our Saviour's birth. Gloria in excelsis Deo! Gloria in excelsis Deo!

God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen
G
od rest ye merry, gentlemen Let nothing you dismay Remember, Christ, our Saviour Was born on Christmas day To save us all from Satan’s power When we were gone astray O tidings of comfort and joy Comfort and joy O tidings of comfort and joy In Bethlehem, in Israel This blessed Babe was born And laid within a manger Upon this blessed morn The which His Mother Mary Did nothing take in scorn O tidings of comfort and joy Comfort and joy O tidings of comfort and joy
22
From God our Heavenly Father A blessed Angel came And unto certain Shepherds Brought tidings of the same How that in Bethlehem was born The Son of God by Name O tidings of comfort and joy Comfort and joy O tidings of comfort and joy “Fear not then”, said the Angel “Let nothing you affright This day is born a Saviour Of a pure Virgin bright To free all those who trust in Him From Satan’s power and might” O tidings of comfort and joy Comfort and joy O tidings of comfort and joy
23
The shepherds at those tidings Rejoiced much in mind And left their flocks a-feeding In tempest, storm and wind And went to Bethlehem straightway The Son of God to find O tidings of comfort and joy Comfort and joy O tidings of comfort and joy And when they came to Bethlehem Where our dear Saviour lay They found Him in a manger Where oxen feed on hay His Mother Mary kneeling down Unto the Lord did pray O tidings of comfort and joy Comfort and joy O tidings of comfort and joy
24
Now to the Lord sing praises All you within this place And with true love and brotherhood Each other now embrace This holy tide of Christmas All other doth deface O tidings of comfort and joy Comfort and joy O tidings of comfort and joy

O Holy Night
O
holy night! The stars are brightly shining, It is the night of our dear Saviour’s birth. Long lay the world in sin and error pining, Till He appear’d and the soul felt its worth. A thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices, For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn. Fall on your knees! O hear the angel voices! O night divine, O night when Christ was born; O night divine, O night, O night Divine.
Led by the light of Faith serenely beaming, With glowing hearts by His cradle we stand. So led by light of a star sweetly gleaming, Here come the wise men from the Orient land. The King of Kings lay thus in lowly manger; In all our trials born to be our friend. He knows our need, to our weaknesses no stranger, Behold your King! Before Him lowly bend! Behold your King, Before Him lowly bend!
26
Truly He taught us to love one another; His law is love and His gospel is peace. Chains shall He break for the slave is our brother; And in His name all oppression shall cease. Sweet hymns of joy in grateful chorus raise we, Let all within us praise His holy name. Christ is the Lord! O praise His Name forever, His power and glory evermore proclaim. His power and glory evermore proclaim.

Silent Night
S
ilent night, holy night, All is calm, all is bright Round yon virgin mother and child. Holy infant, so tender and mild, Sleep in heavenly peace, Sleep in heavenly peace. Silent night, holy night, Shepherds quake at the sight; Glories stream from heaven afar, Heavenly hosts sing Alleluia! Christ the Savior is born, Christ the Savior is born!
Silent night, holy night, Son of God, love's pure light; Radiant beams from thy holy face With the dawn of redeeming grace, Jesus, Lord, at thy birth, Jesus, Lord, at thy birth.

O’ Little Town of Bethlehem
O
little town of Bethlehem, How still we see thee lie. Above thy deep and dreamless sleep The silent stars go by; Yet in thy dark streets shineth The everlasting Light. The hopes and fears of all the years Are met in thee tonight. For Christ is born of Mary, And, gathered all above While mortals sleep, the angels keep Their watch of wond’ring love. O morning stars, together Proclaim the holy birth, And praises sing to God the King, And peace to men on earth. How silently, how silently The wondrous gift is giv’n! So God imparts to human hearts The blessings of his heav’n. No ear may hear his coming; But in this world of sin Where meek souls will receive him, still The dear Christ enters in. 43
