COMMUNITY FOUNDATION Scholarships

The scholarship application deadline for high school seniors applying for one of the Community Foundation scholarships is March 26, 2023. These scholarships each have specific criteria for applicants and all information, including the online application, may be found at foundationswla.org.

• Gwen Higgins English Scholarship –

• Lake Arthur High School

• Richard O. and Frances E. Boisture Scholarship -

• Jennings High School

Scholarships are made possible by generous donors, both individuals and businesses, who create funds at the Community Foundation and develop criteria for their scholarships. New scholarship funds are all endowed so that the principal is invested forever, and the income earned may be granted for scholarships.
