The sophistication of marketing, securing domestic and international business, world-class sporting events, and spurring development did not happen overnight. The groundwork and solid foundation were put into place 50 years ago, and each year, we strive to build upon the year before – year after year. Looking to the future of travel in Southwest Louisiana, I know that everyone cannot wait for some of the promising developments to begin right along the shores of Lake Charles through a variety of public/private partnerships.
