Profile & Artist Statement Barbara Dudzinska

Barbara Dudzinska lives on the Gold Coast, Australia, a beautiful sunny area with white sandy beaches, and a magical coastline. Barbara was introduced to various forms of art from an early age by her parents who were both architects. She followed her family tradition and completed a Master Degree in Architecture with honours and an academic award for the best design of the year. Through her studies she learned the history of art and architecture, from classical to contemporary. She studied many forms of art including life drawing, quick ink sketches, different techniques and styles of painting as well as sculpture. Through her professional life she was always focused on design, working as part of a team on many major architectural and interior design projects in Europe and Australia as well as having worked successfully in the film industry as a set designer on many successful film productions in Europe. To compliment her design skills, she also graduated from KVB Visual Concept College in Sydney as a fashion designer and fashion illustrator. Barbara has a keen interest in photography and has for many years been a member of Gold Coast Photographic Society. This interest in photography led to an interest in digital art and participation in the American Art studies -“Artistry”, “Awake” and “Kaizen”. Barbara’s digital art has been published in many issues of the Australian and New Zealand digital art magazine “Artists Down Under” and in American art magazine “Living the Photo Artistic Life”. Her works were also on display at Art Galleries located in the prestigious art district of Scottsdale, Arizona USA and they won many top awards over there. Her art successfully sells and is presented at major online art outlets like “Saatchi Art” and “Fine Art America”, she is constantly developing new art techniques from digital watercolour painting through to old masters effects and surrealistic expression. Barbara is helping other artists to achieve their CAPA awards and she is an assessor and mentor for Australian Photographic Society.
