Hello and welcome to the Through the Maze Summer newsletter.

Through the Maze WhatApp information service Through the Maze send out a weekly WhatsApp message telling people about accessible events and activities that are coming up in Leeds. If you are having problems getting signed up let us know so we can help you.
How to get the WhatsApp Updates To get updates from Through the Maze add our number 0776 052 8588 to your phonebook. Save the number as Through the Maze. Send a WhatsApp message saying Get Weekly Update to the number you just saved. Privacy We use a WhatsApp broadcast list. In the broadcast lists you can’t see who else is a member of the list or anyone’s phone number. We will not share your contact details with anyone else. People in Action JubiLeeds Variety Show at Leeds Conservatoire 3 Quarry Hill Leeds LS2 7PD It is going to be a celebration of the talented people in the autistic and learning disabled communities. See performances from singers, dancers, comedians and more, as well as an art gallery with some impressive artworks, all from people within our community. Buy your ticket today for the show of the year.
24/06/2022 The bar will be open from 5pm so people can come to look at the art exhibition and have a drink. The show starts at 6pm. The show will finish around 8.30pm and the bar will remain open until 9pm. Tickets are £5.25 from www.peopleinaction.org.uk/jubileeds Support workers go free. Pyramid offers group and 1:1 art and music sessions. Discover Groups are for people to try out different art forms and learn new skills.
Development Teams are for people to work 1:1 with a professional artist or musician. They work on their own projects.
Sessions are blended. Blended means you can come to our art studio, or join us online using Zoom.

Money Talks exhibition – featuring Alfie Fox and Stephen Harvey This exhibition looks at money, and the relationship we have had with money over the years. The exhibition features artwork by Stephen Harvey and Alfie Fox. Stephen and Alfie are both artists who work at Pyramid. Leeds City Museum Millennium Square Leeds, LS2 8BH The exhibition is on until 26th June 2022.

Ready for Take-Off exhibition by Andrew Towse BEYOND supports artists with learning disabilities in Leeds. Andrew is part of the BEYOND. Andrew’s photography display is about planes and aircrafts.

Swarthmore Education Centre Have fun, learn new things and make friends. Swarthmore has courses for everyone.
Do you need to improve your reading writing or maths skills? Swarthmore can help you in our small friendly classes.
If you like art and crafts or nature and being outside there are lots of classes to join.

Thackray Museum of Medicine
Thackray Museum of Medicine has a new display, about being well. The new display is called Tranquillity. Tranquility is running until 17th July at Thackray Museum of Medicine.
One of the displays you can see is called Regarding Forests. Regarding Forests is a space to rest and relax. You will learn about photographer Chrystel Lebas.
A ticket for disabled people is £10.75 and valid for one year from date you buy it. A carer or support worker ticket is free and valid for one year from date you buy it.
