Happy February! It’s the month of LOVE… and we LOVE our readers! This month, we introduce the 2014 Points Across Texas reader rides program. It is staying basically the same as last year, a base list that is augmented with each month’s Ride Map. Texas State Parks are added back to the base list. But this year, you can be a THUNDER EARNER! Read all about it on page 15. The rally season is just around the corner! To start it off, we once again sponsor the St. Valentine’s Day Massacre Rally in Hondo. We’ve enjoyed working with the Alamo Gypsy MC and hope they have a great year. Our own Pig and Rainman will be on-hand with goodies and extra copies of the magazine. So stop by and say “hi” to Pig. Oh yea… and get a picture to submit for the Points Across Texas patch! On March 1, along with VIP Apparel, we sponsor a Spring Rally Kick Off party. Check out the Event List (page 19) for more information. They’ll have many of the spring rallies represented, such as Blowout’s Biker Bash (March); Carts, Bikers & Babes Rally (April); Oldest Town in Texas Rally (April); and more. There will be crawfish, vendors, drink specials, pole dance contest, door prizes, and lots of music. We hope you can join us for the party! Our cover this month is a love story of a different kind… the healing power of love, that is. And of course, it involves the love of riding! We hope you enjoy this tender story that was shared with us. Of course, we continue the call for Reader Recommendations. This month, we put the call out for the BEST hamburger in Texas. Where did you have it? Describe it’s yumminess and what makes it so good! Ride safe... and ride with THUNDER ! Saddlemen Sissy Bar Combo Bag ince 1987 Saddlemen has been dedicated to offering high-quality, aftermarket seats, luggage, and accessories for all types of motorcycles. Designed for increased comfort and style, all Saddlemen products are built with industry-leading technology and premium materials. Saddlemen’s vast line puts American craftsmanship on any type of bike - Harley, cruiser, touring, sport, dual sport, offroad – even ATVs and snowmobiles! Whether you explore the open road, tackle some unexplored terrain, or commute to work, Saddlemen’s quality products will help you get where you want to go. Designed to mount on the sissy bar of our bikes, as the name suggests, we found that the Combo Bag fits comfortably on the passenger seat of a touring bike! The hard part is how to tell your significant other that they are not going with you! This means, by the way, that you get the whole bag, and all of its many pockets, all to yourself! There is room in this bag to not only take the essentials, but some other important stuff, too. There are many things about the Combo Bag that really stand out. Saddlemen bags excel in the way they are constructed. They are tough, weather resistant, made of 1200 denier saddle-tuff fabric and marine-grade vinyl. The semi-rigid luggage, lightweight shell maintains its shape regardless of cargo load. This bag gives you the security and comfort of knowing that no matter what you put in the bag, it will arrive safe and snug when you arrive at your destination. The Combo Bag mounting is simple, quick, and versatile as it can be mounted just about anywhere on just about any bike using the built-in multiple mounting rings and four hold-down straps included with each bag. The multi functionality and versatility of the FTB 3600 is awesome. Whether you are using the bag on a long ride or just a “short little honeymoon”, it always serves its purpose. Another thing that absolutely astounded us was the immense capacity of this bag! The main bag measures 11-1/2″ L x 20″ W x 21″ H. On the top, there is an easily detachable storage

Page 8

H

February 2014

bag that measures 9-1/2″ L x 16″ W x 4-1/2” H. In addition, there are also side compartments that hold more stuff like maps and extra underwear and they can even double as beverage holders! Saddlemen has thought of everything. They have even included a high-visibility, light-reflective rain cover with locking cinch to protect the bag and its contents. Use it in the rain or even at night to keep the dampness and humidity away and for increased visibility and safety. Just to give you an idea of how much detail has gone into the design of the FTB 3600, Saddlemen has included padded backpack straps that clip on in seconds. Their attention to detail extends to the strong, nylon meshing zipper teeth and chrome sliders equipped with large pulls for easy use with a gloved hand. Even the smallest of details haven’t escaped Saddlemen… the mesh interior storage compartment keeps the cargo secure, visible, and separated. Your local motorcycle dealer is the best source for Saddlemen products. If they don’t stock Saddlemen products, you can order directly from the website (Saddlemen.com) and we recommend you contact them directly for all of your custom requirements or call to order at 800.397.7709.

Christmas is a Wonderful Time of Year! ep, that’s right, Christmas is a wonderful time of year and we should all keep it in our hearts throughout the year. Hello Piglets, it’s that time once again, time for another big bad biker story. We’ve all been on toy runs and we’ve all donated a few toys and gifts to help some needy children or some worthwhile cause. A few of us have even experienced being Santa Claus a time or two. For those of you who haven’t had the honor to be a Santa Claus on a toy run, this is mine and Rainman’s Christmas story. December 14, 2013 was the 17th Annual Red Riding Hoodlum Toy Run (RRHTR) in San Antonio. The RRHTR benefits the abused and abandoned children of the Bair Foundation here in San Antonio. The Bair Foundation takes in children under the age of eighteen and places them in foster care for the child’s protection. The toy run itself was started in 1996 by four big-hearted, bad ass bikers from four different clubs. These bikers, on a whim, decided to provide much-needed toys to some underprivileged kids. Each year since, the RRTR continues to grow with the help and contributions of the Confederation of Clubs & Independents (COC&I) Region 7. The toy run is coordinated by our Three J’s; Julia “Gabbie” Sandstedt, James “Digger” Sandstedt, and Jennifer “Sydekik” Palmer. Along with continued help and support from Tribe of Judah (TOJ) Rex, these people are the ones who keep the toy run alive and running smooth. Rainman was asked to be Santa Claus for this run. Reluctant at first, it didn’t take long until Rainman knew in his heart it was the right thing to do. Each toy run meeting brought more anticipation and understanding as to the magnitude of what it was we were working so hard to complete. For Rainman and me, it meant a chance at redemption; let’s call it a chance to do something right. It was our chance to make a difference in this world by showing hurt and neglected children there are people who do care and that their lives and the world is not all bad. It was our chance to show “LOVE”. We arrived at the Deer Crossing Saloon at 10:00 a.m. (the start and end point for the run) with the party already in full swing. Five pick-up trucks were filling up fast with bicycles and two large enclosed trailers were being packed with other toys and gifts for the kids. If it wasn’t for all the bikers helping out, Rudolph would have had to call in reinforcements to help pull this sled of toys. Rainman and I spent the morning mingling with the crowd. A branch of mistletoe made it even more fun as all my lady friends were given a proper Christmas kiss! One Christmas gift from Santa for the attending bikers was two lovely young ladies from the Palace Men’s Club. They were Ana Mae and Valentine, two of the nicest pairs of eye candy you have ever seen! All the months of planning and preparations came down to this day-this one segment in time. We had a departure time of 1:00 p.m., beginning with a prayer meeting for all riders.

TOJ Rex prayed over all the bikers and their rides for a safe journey and return back to the Deer Crossing. After the prayer, Santa was given the mic to make his announcement. “Mount up, fire ‘em up. Let’s do this!” Santa watched as his leather clad thug brothers geared up. One by one, engines begin to start as DJ Skeeter played the perfect song, Bon Jovi’s “Wanted Dead or Alive”. Rainman was no longer Rainman, he was now Santa Claus. As witnesses watched, he walked over to his bike and immediately went “into the zone”. You know the zone I am talking about, it’s that moment in time when you know you are a part of something so special, so important, that you want to savior every moment forever. His walk was slow, he could hear the song playing, and Santa realized that this moment in time was not possible without all the help, the time, the money, and the efforts of all those bikers, their clubs, and the various other associations involved. Santa was only a small part in the whole big picture. We were not there to think of ourselves, we were a united group of men, women, and children who wanted to make Christmas special for some kids who really needed someone to have their back at this point in their lives. Santa reached his motorcycle. Standing there waiting for him was Mrs. Clause, AKA Valentine. She was beautiful in every way possible. She was smiling dressed in her flowing red coat trimmed in white fur with her Santa hat on – she was perfect. This was her first ride ever on the back of a bike and she had no clue what was in store for her. Santa took one look at her and he couldn’t resist. He took her into his arms and kissed her passionately on the lips. Somehow, judging by her reaction, I don’t think she minded that kiss one bit! The afternoon sky was crystal clear blue with a nip in the air. TOJ Rex looked over at Santa as people took pictures as though they were paparazzi! The ground shook from the thunder of the pounding engines as the road captains signaled all set. A fist bump from Rex and Santa raised his hand high to give the signal to head out. The highway traffic was stopped as we began to roll out. Mrs. Clause began to squeal as she waved her hand to all the people as we passed by. As we approached each intersection I could see ahead; the road captains had done their job. People were stopped

and they watched in total amazement as Santa Claus and about 200 of his buddies had taken control of the road. People honked their horns and waved, but not to show their disapproval of bikers using the road. Instead, they waved out of respect for they knew these bikers were on a very important mission. As we pulled into the parking lot of the Bair Foundation, the sidewalk was lined from end-to-end with children and their foster parents. They all cheered and waved as Santa Claus and the bikers parked their rides. Santa knelt down and hugged as many of the kids as he could. There was one little girl in particular. She wasn’t a day older than five. As Santa Claus held his arms open for her, she stood back. I guess trusting an adult was an issue with this little one. Apprehensive at first, she did have one important question for the big guy. Seeking the truth in a very controversial matter, she was all business when she asked, “Are you the real Santa Claus?” Santa paused for a moment, he smiled real big and said “Yes I am, come here and let me show you something.” The little girl jumped into his arms and hugged his neck tightly. Santa rose up and spun around revealing to the little girl about two hundred bikers all lined up on the street

... continued watching, waving and cheering. Santa said to her, “These are my friends; they are here for you today. They believe in me, so you can too.” The bikers cheered as Santa showed them his new friend. Santa then went inside so the biker’s could get the toys unloaded and the delivery completed. He and Mrs. Claus sat down beside the Christmas tree and the kids all lined up and took turns sitting on Santa’s lap for a picture with him. There were children of all ages; even a few teenagers who were not too old for a chance to visit with St. Nick and Mrs. Claus was busy handing out candy canes and a small toy for each of the kids. I say that Santa handled everything well… that is until Jacob and Joey came in. Jacob was about 14 weeks old and was dressed in an elf outfit (Santa’s future helper). He was so adorable and he even smiled at Santa. Joey was also 14 weeks old; he had the prettiest eyes and a smile that just melted the big guy’s heart. Santa had a hard time giving them back to their mothers. He just wanted to hold on to them both and never let them go. That makes you realize every child deserves a chance in life. It is not fair for them to have to go through all that these kids have had to endure. Soon enough, it was time to go. The toys had been unloaded and stored for wrapping and the kids all got to visit with Santa. The staff was there for their chance with Santa but Santa was up to his old tricks as he pulled out his branch of mistletoe and proceeded to give each staff member her own kiss and hug! Everyone else had already headed back to the Deer Crossing for the meeting and after party. Santa and Mrs. Claus took a few moments for themselves; there was no rush and they soaked in all that they had done for the past two hours. Once back at the Deer Crossing Saloon, it was time for the helpers’ own Christmas party. The whiskey and the beer flowed as the music played. We raised more money through a live auction, a 50/50 drawing, and lots and lot of food to eat. It was enough to hand the Bair Foundation a check for $10,000 the following week! The COC&I Region 7 proved once again just how much they actually care about some kids they don’t even know. We’ll see you all at the State Confederation of Clubs & Independence Rally in April. Until then, Ride HARD or Stay Home, Piglets!

THUNDER EARNER - Sample Ride Map

By Randy McCamey, Associate Editor

T

his month, we highlight the new Points Across Texas “THUNDER EARNER” with a fun “how to” ride around north central Texas. For this special designation, we want you to ride the state and collect pictures of you and your bike with a sign or marker in Texas cities, ghost towns, and counties with the first letters that spell out “THUNDER ROADS TEXAS”. Letters may be picked up in any order, so, take your time and see the sights as you ride the state. Letters may also be picked up on multiple rides – you do not have to get them all in one trip! Pictures may be of anything with the name of the destination clearly visible in the picture. Now, we know that there are no incorporated cities in Texas that start with X. There are also very few cities in

Texas-based, Texas-focused, Texas PROUD!

the state that start with U. So, we are going to make it easy! For “U”, you can use a city or town that has that letter anywhere in its name! For example, if you get a picture in Houston, you can choose whether to use the H or the U. For “X”, same thing goes; any city/county that includes an “X”, such as Mexia. We’ll make it even easier, visit a Texas State Park and get a picture of a park sign that includes the word “Texas” and we’ll count that as an “X” as well! For the “THUNDER EARNER” example ride map this month, I’ll stick close to home and ride to collect the letters. I start in Rucker (R). Rucker is in the northern part of Comanche County on Highway 6 between DeLeon and Gorman. Rucker is technically a ghost town as it has a church and half-dozen houses along the road. That’s okay

it still has a city marker! I snap my picture and continue north to Eastland (E). From Eastland I head east along I-20 to the Olden exit. Olden (O) is about a half mile north of the interstate and about half way between Eastland and Ranger. There is a back way to get to Olden, but in this case, the interstate is a better option. The Post Office in Olden makes the perfect spot for a picture, so I snap the shutter, head back to the interstate, and make my next stop a few miles up the road in roaring Ranger (R). You may have noticed that I already have an “R” from my stop in Rucker. For the “THUNDER EARNER”, there is no

#1 RULE: BE SAFE & HAVE FUN! • Visit qualified destination points and send in photos proving you were there. • Only one picture per destination. For destinations that appear in more than one category, a different picture(s) is needed for each category. • Rider(s) and/or their bike(s) MUST be in the photo, along with a current issue of Thunder Roads Texas or a print out of the current year’s Points Across Texas patch (available online). • Qualified destination points MUST be easily identifiable. • All photos submitted must be taken in 2014.

• No age limit. • Group photos are allowed with a single qualified photo submitted for all in the picture. • For riding clubs and groups with at least five participants that achieve a patch, get a commemorative certificate of Club Achievement.

RIDE

The base set of qualified destinations: • A picture of you in a Thunder Roads Texas T-shirt or standing with someone in a Thunder Roads Texas T-shirt. (Limit one per rider.) • A picture of you/or your bike next to a Thunder Roads Texas banner or sign. (Limit one per rider.) • A picture with Pig of Pig Writes fame! (Limit one per rider.) • Texas Welcome Sign at any state border. (Limit one per rider.) • Texas county courthouse. (Limit one per county/per rider.) • All jailhouses listed in the “Texas Jail List” on TexasEscapes. com under Texas Architecture. Limit one per jail/per rider.) • All “Capitals” of Texas*. (Limit one per capital/per rider.) • All Texas State Parks as listed under the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department website (TPWD.state.TX.us/stateparks).

... continued

double-dipping. There are 2 “R’s” in our name, so I have to get a separate “R” destination picture for each of the 2 “R’s”. Ranger, then, is my second “R”. Another few miles east on I-20, then north on Highway 16 puts me in Strawn (S), home of Mary’s Café. No doubt, many of you have eaten a chicken fried steak at Mary’s. Just a few miles east of Strawn on Highway 108 gets me to the post office in Mingus (U) and, a few miles further, to the volunteer fire station in Thurber (T). Seventeen more miles east on I-20, then north on FM 4 about 3 miles gets me to Santo(S). This is the second “S” needed. I reverse course and follow FM 4 south to Lipan and then on to Granbury. West on Highway 377 gets me to Tolar (T) and the volunteer fire department. There is a very nice backroad directly between Lipan and Tolar, but the Star Hollow Road and the Old Tolar Highway can be a challenge to follow, so I’ll save that little excursion for a future ride map. From Tolar to my next stop in Paluxy (I’ll use the “X” in Paluxy) is an easy 10-mile ride with curves and hills along most of its path. I take FM 56 south from Tolar, then take a right (southwest) on FM 51 to get to Paluxy. After crossing the Paluxy River, a couple of houses and the old Paluxy Baptist church are about all there is left in the area. I take FM 205 to Stephenville to catch FM 914 for about 20 miles to get my photo at Alexander (A) where it intersects Highway 6. South from that point, I ride to Hico (H). I stop and stretch and look at the Billy the Kid marker, have a drink of water, then it is back on the bike due south on Highway 281 to Evant (E) and Adamsville (A). Here, I reverse course and return to Hamilton where I ride west on Ranch Road 2486 about 16 miles to Energy (E) to get a picture at the post office. Another 12 miles, with a short turn south on Highway 1476, I arrive in Newburg (N).

MAP

My last leg is a straight shot due north on Highway 16, through Comanche to the spot in the road called Downing (D). Continuing due north, I get into DeLeon and turn west on FM 587 where I then ride about 7 miles to my last stop, the Texas ghost town of Duster (D). At this point, I think I have all the letters I need, so let’s check it out. THUNDER

A Different Way of Dealing with Autism By: Donald D. Royer, Founder of the Ride for Autism

W

hen it was first determined that our son, Daniel, was autistic, we were probably like many other parents in the same situation: we only had a vague idea as what autism is (e.g., inability to communicate, extremely reserved, etc.). And like most people in the same situation, we studied up on the subject; became better informed, which included the realization that there is no cure for autism. The type of autism Daniel has it Asperger’s Syndrome, the highest-functioning strain. Little did we know that our hobby of motorcycling would be the tool for to successfully deal with the disorder, to the point that he would eventually ride his own motorcycle to the Sturgis Rally in South Dakota. Daniel came to us late in life. Our youngest child was thirteen when he was born. Daniel accorded us the privilege of raising him as an only child. We knew we would probably never achieve “empty nest” status. So we proceeded with purchasing our first Harley, something that was planned for whenever our children were all gone and it would be just me and my wife. Almost immediately we became active in the local Harley Owners Group (HOG) and began including our son, taking him on chapter rides and fundraisers by having our elder son bring him by car. The membership took him under their wing and provided him with a social life that many special-needs individuals do not have. In this environment he developed self-confidence and an outgoing personality, something almost unique for an autistic individual. As is often the case he fell in love with everything related to Harley-Davidson. Being an extremely compassionate child, he gave his all to the Muscular Dystrophy

Association, a prominent fundraising effort for our HOG group; for several years he sold the most raffle tickets for the annual motorcycle giveaway. We realized he was developing an interest in riding so we put him through several motorcycle rider courses. Most were unsuccessful. But there was one that worked; thanks to the tutelage of Mr. Wells Cornette with Top Gun Motorcycle School in Opelousas, LA. He was able to relate to Daniel and teach him the fundamentals of riding. By then Daniel had qualified for his drivers’ permit which allowed him to ride as long as I accompanied him. We purchased for him the first Buell “Blast” motorcycle sold in Louisiana. He then progressed to a Custom Sportster and now rides a 2011 “SuperLow” Sportster. The culmination of our efforts occurred this year was when Daniel rode his motorcycle to Sturgis for the Black Hills Rally (1500+/- miles). I rode along with him (of course) while my wife and some of our friends followed in an RV. Our distance record for one day was 672 miles; quite an achievement for anyone on a Sportster. In addition to the contributions made to our son’s development by the local HOG chapter, our local dealer, Cajun Harley-Davidson in Scott, LA whole-heartedly supports our annual “Ride for Autism”. This is an overnight motorcycle poker run, Lafayette, LA to Galveston Island, TX which strives to increase public awareness about the mysterious affliction and raises money to help those dealing with autism. All proceeds benefit Project Independence (ProjectIndependence.org), an autism support group staffed entirely by volunteers, meaning

every penny raised goes to the cause. Join us for the entire ride, March 21-22, starting at Cajun Harley-Davidson in Scott, LA (724 I-10 South Frontage Road) and ending at Woody’s on Galveston Island (11149 FM 3005 San Luis Pass Rd)… or just help us celebrate the ride’s arrival at Woody’s! ON THE COVER

Healing Through Love; A Motorcycle Love Story Shelly “Cricket” Silva

you ever wondered how much bikes become a part of your soul this story is for you. This is a love story in memory of Raeford Landrum, II. The Landrum family had a passion for bikes. Michelle rode as a passenger behind her husband Raeford for some time and their son Raeford, II also. Michelle and Raeford, II talked about wanting to ride their own. They planned to go and take a riding course and get their licenses and then bikes so they could ride as a family. It was something they could all share and enjoy. With the plan in place for a riding course the Landrum family was excited to say the least. The excitement of the expected riding course was cut short by the unexpected passing of Raeford, II in August 2010. Michelle and Raeford were devastated by the loss of their son. With so much grief on Michelle’s heart she opted to not take the riding course. Time passed, a year nearly. Like many couples who lose a child the grief was a wrecking ball on their relationship. Many would think the loss of children would pull a couple together when it’s not uncommon to do quite the opposite. This was definitely a difficult time in the couple’s marriage. Riding was not in the forefront of things, but still Michelle felt a tug on her heart to ride her own. The memory of the plans to take a riding course together as a mother and son weighed on her. So, she enlisted her cousins, Mercedes and Dicie. Together the three of them would help her reclaim what she and her son had set out to do. All three took a riding course at Javelina Harley-Davidson in Boerne and got their licenses. Mercedes and Dicie never purchased a bike, but they helped Michelle on her journey to her first bike.

Page 28

February 2014

Michelle’s first bike was a 2010 Street Bob she named, “Marilyn Monroe”! She only had it for three months. By July of 2012 she was on to her 2012 Street Glide she named “Anna Nicole”. She said, “I named it that because it had boobs and hips!” In September of 2013 she purchased her next bike a 2014 Street Glide she calls “Ginger”. I would definitely say Michelle got bike fever! During the course of riding her first bike up to her current bike “Ginger” is where you can find the love in this story. As, Michelle began to ride her own, with the encouragement of her husband Raeford, they both began to heal. Through all the little moments, like when Michelle was getting off her bike and stepped on a ball point pen on the ground that caused her foot to slip, it gave them a way to reconnect as a couple. They gained new memories, new things to talk about. It gave them something to look forward to on their days off. It took the focus off their grief and gave their relationship a new direction. Today, you can find them happily riding side by side sharing the open road with a new found love for bikes and each other. Thank you for sharing your love story with me. May it inspire others!

“In fact, I do.” said the old man. “After my wife and I have sex, I’m usually cold and chilly; and then, after I have sex with her the second time, I’m usually hot and sweaty.” A biker, whose dog was a female and “in heat”, agreed to look after her neighbor’s male dog while the neighbors were on vacation. They had a large house and believed they could keep the two dogs apart. However, as they were drifting off to sleep they heard awful howling and moaning sounds. They rushed downstairs and found the dogs locked together, in obvious pain and unable to disengage. Unable to separate them, and perplexed as to what to do next, although it was late, they called the vet, who answered in a very grumpy voice.

When the doctor examined his elderly wife a short time later he said, “Everything appears to be fine.. Are there any medical concerns that you would like to discuss with me?” The lady replied that she had no questions or concerns. The doctor then said to her: “Your husband mentioned an unusual problem.. He claimed that he was usually cold and chilly after having sex with you the first time; and then hot and sweaty after the second time. Do you have any idea about why?”

After explaining the problem, the Vet said, “Hang up the phone and place it down alongside the dogs. I will then call you back the noise of the phone ringing will make the male lose his erection and he will be able to withdraw.”

“Oh, that crazy old bastard” she replied, “That’s because the first time is usually in January, and the second time is in August.”

“Do you actually think that will work?” she asked.

Two couples were playing poker one evening. Jim accidentally dropped some cards on the floor. When he bent down under the table to pick them up, he noticed Les’s wife, Sue wasn’t wearing any underwear under her dress! Shocked by this, Jim upon trying to sit back up again, hit his head on the table and emerged red-faced. Later, Jim went to the kitchen to get some refreshments

“Just worked on me,” the Vet replied and hung up. After an examination, the doctor said to his elderly patient: “You appear to be in good health.. Do you have any medical concerns you would like to ask me about?”

Page 32

February 2014

Les’s wife followed and asked, “Did you see anything that you like under there?”

Surprised by her boldness, Jim admitted that, well indeed he did. She said, “Well, you can have it but it will cost you $250.” After taking a minute or two to assess the financial and moral costs of this offer, Jim confirms that he is interested. Sue told him that since her husband Les played golf Friday afternoons and Jim didn’t, Jim should be at her house around 2pm. Friday afternoon. When Friday rolled around, Jim showed up at Les’s house at 2pm sharp and after paying Sue the agreed sum they went to the bedroom, and closed their transaction. Jim quickly dressed and left. As usual, Les came home from golf at 6 pm and upon arriving, asked his wife: “Did Jim come by the house this afternoon?” With a lump in her throat Sue answered, “Why, yes, he did stop by for a few minutes this afternoon.” Her heart nearly skipped a beat when her husband curtly asked, “Did he give you $250?” Sue was using her best poker face and replied, “Well, yes, as a matter of fact, he did”, she said out loud but kept a smug look on her face. Les, with a satisfied look on his face, continued, “Good. He came by the golf club this morning and borrowed $250 from me. He promised he’d stop by this afternoon and pay me back.”
