THU NDERS LOVE SOCKS
Our socks are designed in a little village in the North West of Spain, at the botton of a beautiful estuary, at the mouth of Lerez river, near Portugal border, there they are produced in small family workshops by hosiers who have been doing this troughout three generations. Our designers live of the traditional ways of knit in which these hosiers are experts, this combined to the highest cotton quality give our socks its spectacular presence.
We work the sock design with the colours and its essence, its architecture, the yarn mixtures and the deep knowledge of the different ways of knitting allows us to work its structure. The use of traditional machines provides us the posibility to play with sock arquitecture, we work with "link", several techniques in yarn mixing to get chromatic games and even in some of our models we delete the seam on the tip, this is hand made. In a world where industry goes at great speed, we stand by, respecting the production period of little quatities per day and adapting our designs to the present time.

THE COT TON
We only use high quality materials, like Egyptian cotton, unique by its finest quality and famous by its long fiber and thin yarn. The long fiber increases the quality of the yarn, and the thin yarn provides more density to the fabric. Another agent thet contributes to the high quality of the cotton is its manual harvest, it reduces the pressure on the fiber and protects it better. Recyled cotton is a material adapted to our philosophy of the respect of the environment. We work with cotton recycled in Spain, with offcuts coming from the textile industry. In order to make this type of cotton, chemical products like chlorine and other aggresive agents for the environment are not needed since the colours are created selecting them without any process of dyeing. Usually while harvesting and processing a lot of water is used, however, the recycled cotton doesn't need any.

BLEND COLLECTION
Blend
Collection is a multicoloured cotton-blend for fashionable and
colourful looks. We produce this collection from a careful selection of recycled cotton yarns and a special dressmaking technique. This process consists in mixing different yarns to develop a resistance and thick thread with a unique combination colour. We choose from a wide range of colours yarns to create a new and original chromatic composition. In our commitment to sustainable production we use recycled cotton which is padded, soft and resistant. In this way we produce durable and comfortable socks that do not need wool reinforcements inside the sock to guarantee maximum comfort. We also decided to place the elastic in the upper part getting a perfect fit.
Blend Collection Socks are made with a multicoloured blend of recycled cotton to produce padded and resistant yarns. In this way, quality socks is guaranteed without neglecting fashionable design.

We use thin and soft yarns in four different colours. The sewing machine is responsible for mixing them in the same canal, creating a single multicoloured thread.

BOHEMIAN STYLE
Bohemian Style socks are defined by the "classics", The good know-how and the tradition. The geometric designs of vintage knitting books from the mid last century inspire this collection, moreover, we complete the design with vibrant colours, and in this way we obtain a traditional product with high quality and beauty. We make them with high quality Egyptian cotton, conferring them great softness. To get the highest quality and comfort, the tip is hand finished by joining the two parts point by point making the seam disappear.
Our Bohemian Style Collection is made from high quality Egyptian cotton following a traditional production process which finish the seam by hand.

FOREST COLLECTION
Forest collection is inspired in nature colours, in their chromatic differences. We get these chromatic differences making our socks with five yarns of different colours. We mix the yarns before introducing them in the machine and after that we use wide gauge machines, getting an open knit that allows us to see the introduced chromatic variations. In this collection we have decided to place the elastic in the upper part and complete the design only with elastic knit. Thus, we get a natural effect reinforced with the fact that with this method each sock has each own chromatic tonality, making each product unique and unrepeatable.
HELEN COLLECTION
Helen Collection is our first socks line for ladies. We created a multicolour construction which represent women’s passion, power and cheerfulness. We created a colourful yarn craft from a careful mix of recycled yarns. Indeed, we produce original and resistant threads with a new colour combination. In addition we divided the sock in three stripes with different chromatic composition to get a bold design. In this collection we use recycled cotton which is padded, soft and resistant. As such, products durability and sustainability is guaranteed.
Helen collection socks are made with recycled blend cotton of many colours. We produce original and resistant threads from a mixture technique that combine multicolour yarns to create a new colour fusion.

LINK COLLECTION
We design and produce our "Link" collection with double cylinder machines in high quality Egyptian cotton. In This way we get different textures on the sock and we can also play with its architecture. We get this knit combination because each cylinder knits in opposite direction. For these first models we use flat colours, keeping The classic spirit of this kind of socks, we choose colours as the pale green, beige, pale blue or bordeaux, with a uniform structure in all the sock, giving it elegancy and timelessness. This kind of knitting does not make much quantities in a day, but it gets a product of great beauty and quality.

NAUTICAL TURN
Nautical turn is the collection inspired in the sea, in the sailing world and in our Atlantic coast. We appeal to classic making with a ribbed leg sock made with Egyptian cotton, in wich we play with designs filled with the typical stripes on the sailor imaginary. we complete the design with a chromatic detail in the tip and in the heel, getting them a vibrant touch in the design. We also introduce elastic in all the socks getting a perfect fit.

RECYCLED COLLECTION
Thunders Love has designed its first recycled cotton collection, the "Recycled Collection". We have made socks using an "organized yarn" technique that utilizies 48 needle machines. The organized yarn technique uses strony, thin, recycled, yarns of cotton in brilliant colours on the inside and thicker yarn outside which has a softer, more luxurious colour. The yarn outside creates a veiling effect allowing the inside colours to pierce through, this is possible because of the wide gauge of the machines we use. The cotton we use is recycled from offcuts from factories that would otherwise be sent to landfills. This recycling process is particularly environmentally friwndly because no new dye or harmful chemicals need to be used. Thi is because the offcuts are separeted into differing colours at source.
