1. Nowhere Office Urban Cluster Modular Office System

The office is the spatial expression of its city, through office space we understand human social behaviour and how ongoing social development and urbanisation can have significant impact on space.

With the rise of technology replaced human manual paperwork and the global pandemic, the role and form of office has shifted so much from the place having productivity as a mantra and administrative activities occurring to a social hub of people who seem to have one thing in common, their workplace. At yet, there is a necessity of how we understand the true meaning of office. At what point do we insert ourselves as designer in this flow of change? What is the current state of work? How can architecture create and promote new workplace exchanges?

Using timber structure and tracking system hanging with flitched steel plate from the existed concrete beam, all the walls are configurable and can be displayed in different modes depends on how the users want to use it. They are constructed using coloured aerogel glass, creating a sense of walking through a display of different office modes

The modular office system helps businesses to create personalized workspaces tailored to their specific needs. Whether it’s open-concept collaborative areas, private offices, meeting rooms, or breakout zones, the configurable walls can be arranged to achieve the desired layout. This adaptability fosters a sense of creating your own working space in your office.

It comes with a range of different modular furnitures that allow you to plug in wherever you want in Nowhere Office. How do you define your boundary between you, your co-workers and your boss? Inspired by Burolandschaft’s philosophhy, Nowhere Office breaks down the hiearchy status in conventional office layout.

2.Alien[Nation] Towards Alienated Urbanism Through Typology of Entertainment

An illustrated essay about the phenomenon of Alienated Urbanism, set in the context of Jericho City in Palestine. Over 10k words, Alien[Nation] will examine the meaning of Alienation through typology of entertainment, The Oasis Casino- the biggest private investment project between the PA, Israel and Jordan after 1993 Oslo Accords and give us an insight of financialised architecture as a tool of capitalism and settler colonialism in the form of entertainment.

Underground Palestine studio posits heritage sites as sites of urban struggle and those that are weaponised for settler colonialism and occupation. Archaeological sites, and sites of cultural heritage, are generally understood as frozen in a moment of ruination. By highlighting those spaces as living and breathing landscapes today, and questioning the value systems and assumed linear time embedded in the classics and archaeological discourse, the studio embraces a delinear and decolonized methodology in order to contest the prevalent instrumentalisation of archaeological sites.

3. Home Territories Co-living Facilities

Ladywell Playtower in Lewisham

The humanitarian refugee crisis is a broader issue of physical, psychological and socialconsequences. The project aims to understand, explore and propose design solutions that could have an impact on positive change. Exploring and expanding on the notion of ‘Home’, this option requires you to re-adapt the existing building envelope - Ladywell Playtower and re-design it as a co-living space. The co-living concept will display a creative model of living for members that promote community living and ‘sharing’.

Based on my previous research about Vietnamese migrants and data of POC currently living in Lewisham, i design a Co living and Co working space for young professionals with background coming from Lewisham. This design is the solution of the living cost crisis and post-pandemic life in London.Open-plan offices are quickly becoming the new norm. On the other hand, with the movement to work from home, the idea of atypical office is no longer necessary .This project is the start of how i get into office design and its spatial representation in society.

4. Media Studies Contentless Anatomy of a Book

Paper as skin, spine as skeleton, but what a book would be like without its content?

Deconstructing the conventional understanding of content by transforming the book itself into the content is the core idea behind this concept. With the ‘book’ serving as the content for the publication, the fundamental structures and components of a book will be recontextualised and recorded as a process of autospy. The publication will present its subject matter through binding techniques such as concertina combined with saddle-stitched binding or do si dos binding. These techniques will help visualise the book’s anatomy, with each page indicating a layer of meaning. By using negative images, the publication will be an X-Ray file of a book’s anatomy. The publication will be placed inside a box that resembles a book so that the audience will be able to read the book in an anatomically sequential manner throughout the entire experience. The goal of these experiments is to make the publication appear complicated from the cover, with the intention of deceiving people about the content that is contained within it.
