Background: This is a live project which is cooperated with the Vibrant Ventures Group to create a competition for student. Client demands contemporary, stylish lodges of the highest standards for his ‘Eco’ resort. Footprint is approx. 20x7m including one bedroom, one bathroom and self-catering area.

2 Exhibition | POP-UP STREET FOOD Year 2 Final Project Location: Grainger Street, Grey’s Monument, Newcastle, UK Client: Little Saigon, the only Vietnamese restaurant in North East UK Foot print: A standard shipping container size (L 12.2m x W 2.43m x H 2.59m)
ELEVATION A Background: Base on a real annual event, Newcastle International Food Festival, which occur in the heart of the city that receive participation from both local and international shop. This new container-pop-up store is expected to promote for Vietnamese street food in the market. This pop-up food experience will only be in place for a month, so during this time it must create impact, but also easy for transporting and travel to another place after the festival finish.

3 HOSPITALITY | HIGHLAND COFFEE CONCEPT CAFE Year 3 Final Project Location: Nguyen Van Cu Street, Dist.5, HCMC Client: Highland Coffee Area: 250 m2
Background: Highland Coffee is popular with their chain stores which their customer target aim to business men. This Highland Concept Cafe is designed for a wider customer target: the young and family. This new coffee house has been designed to revolutionise the look and feel of a traditional Highland Concept and provide a new destination for people to not just have a drink, but to be inspired by the greenery, and the place itself. The idea of bringing the real “Green� in store to create an indoor garden experience. This L-Shape store holds various types of seating, that suitable for most customer demand.

For this project, my main job is to create the 3D visual from Senior’s hand sketch drawings and collaborate with design team to the final stage. My work includes building 3D model in Sketch Up, rendering in V-ray, helping on checking and doing revised construction drawings and related documentation.

This is a renovation project that asked to transform a normal classroom into a modern simulator Trading room for RMIT Business student. I worked with a teammate to deliver CAD drawings of all stages (Demolition, Construction and Furniture Plan; Wall, floor and ceiling details drawing), liaison with supplier for material and doing related documentation.

In a team of two, I assist my senior to delivery from building 3D model to final rendered output images as well as all 2D CAD drawings for the development pack. Choosing materials & furniture are also a part of this phase. A through research of the Bowling construction & building guide is needed to design the Bowling lanes.

This project objective is to create an elegant space plus warming welcome atmosphere for the customer while dine in this restaurant. My tasks include coordinate with design team for CAD drawings, final 3D output images and documentation.

Client demand a luxury design with the concept, same of its name, “Sapphire� for both indoor and outdoor area. Building 3D model and coordinate with design team to deliver final rendered images plus CAD drawings for development pack are my task.

1 Residential | M icro-apartment B uilding Aug 2015 - 2016 Location: Than Nhan Trung Street, Tan Binh District, HCMC Client: Mr. Ha | Businessman Area: 460 sqm
Despite the neoclassical style from the facade of the building, client would like to turn each room into a micro flat that aim to young single and couple who study and work in the area. The brief was to modernise the flat & to maximise the natural light, giving a feeling of comfort, warmth, and relaxation for renters. This 5-storey-building, equipped with a lift, has 9 fully furnished, en-suite studio flats with balcony each. Each flat, with total floor areas of 39 square meters, includes open kitchen/living area and a loft over the bathroom, accessible by a compact shelf-staircase.

2 Residential | Private H ouse Jun 2015 – Oct 2015 Location: Nguyen Van Cu Street, District 5, HCMC Client: Mr. Nhat | IT programmer Area: 227 m2
The site before, with the total area is approx. 150 sqm, accommodated a one-level-house with an empty yard for a family with 4 members. Since client would like to have more rooms and larger space for family gathering without any change to the old frame of the house, he decided to have an extension built at the yard that connecting with the old part into one, increasing the living space from 78 to 135 sqm. Thus, there is a need of interior makeover, including finishes and material, furniture as well as a consultancy on related M&E system. Client is a young IT programmer who would like to package a modern home office into his 27-square meter en-suite bedroom. In the other hands, his parent, at the age of 60, are looking for calming and cozy style for their relaxation.
