LOCATED IN A RIVER-SIDE LAND, NEAR NHAT TAN BRIDGE WHICH WAS JUST FINISHED IN 2014, THE PROJECT HAD A MAGNIFICENT LOCATION. WITH THE BENIFITS OF BEING ONLY 30’ DRIVING TO THE CENTRE OF HANOI, AND THE RAPID RISE OF HIGH BUILDINGS ACROSS THE MAIN ROAD FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE CAPITOL, THE SITE WAS AN IDEAL MODEL TO SHAPE THE WAYS NEW CITIZEN OF HANOI LIVE IN THE FUTURE. UTILIZING OPEN VIEWS TO THE RIVER, BRING GREEN ENVIRONMENT INSIDE 11-FLOORS BUILDINGS , MAXIMIZING THE HARMONY BETWEEN PEOPLE AND THE ENVIRONMENT IN-AND-OUT WERE THE MAIN TARGETS OF THE PROJECT

(JAPANESE COMPETITION HELD IN KITAKYUSHU UNIVERSITY ) KITAKYUSHU HAS 7 CITIES THAT BECOME AN ICON LIKE A 7 PETALS MEAN LIKE ALL 7 CITIES OF KITAKYUSHU. SO WE SEPARATE ALL 7 CITIES TO 7 COLORS LIKE A RAINBOW TO BE A SIGN OF HAPPINESS - THE PROSPERITY IMAGE OF THE INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION IN THE PASS, WHEN ALL THE CHIMNEYS OF FACTORIES REEKS 7 COLORS SMOKES INTO THE SKY AND MAKE PEOPLE HAPPY. WE WOULD LIKE TO CREATE A LANDMARK FOR ATTRACTTING MORE PEOPLE STAY IN THE TOWN INSTEAD OF ESCAPING TO TOKYO OR OSAKA. SPECTRUM REFERS TO THE RAINBOW WITH A PRISM SEPARATES WHEN IT WAS LIGHTEN. PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE

MIXED-USE HOUSING INVITED COMPETITION THE SAIGON RIVER CLIFFS DEVELOPMENT DEFINES ITSELF AS A NEW LANDMARK, LINKING THE CITY TO THE QUALITIES OF THE WATERFRONT. THE SCULPTURAL MASSING OFFERS TRANSCENDING POINTS OF VIEWS, BOTH TOWARDS THE CITY AND THE RIVERSIDE, PRODUCING A CLEAR STATEMENT THROUGH ITS OMNIDIRECTIONAL ORGANIZATION. THE OVERALL IDENTITY OF THE NEW COMPLEX IT’S ENSURED BY A HOMOGENEOUS ARCHITECTURAL LANGUAGE AND STRATEGY. CREATE A FOCUS POINT AT THE FRONT OF THE SITE

BY CONSIDERING THE WHOLE SITE AREA, BOUNDARIES AND SETBACK REGULATION, WE ARE ABLE TO MAXIMIZE THE DISTANCES BETWEEN BUILDINGS AND WE CAN EXTEND THE LANDSCAPE UNTIL THE BOUNDARIES.

BY GROUPING AND THEN DIVIDING THE PROGRAM INTO TWO PARTS, WE ARE ABLE TO PROVIDE THE BEST CONDITIONS FOR EACH OF THEM AND MAKE THE AREAS SHARING THE BENEFIT OF THE COMBINATIONS.

BY LOCATING THE HIGHEST POINT AT THE FRONT OF THE SITE WE CREATE AN ICONIC VERTICAL WHICH COMMUNICATES WITH THE CITY AND THE RIVER SIDE. WE CREATE A HIERARCHY OF PROGRAMS FOR THE NEW DEVELOPMENT.

CREATE AN ICONIC SKYLINE WITH PUBLIC AND PRIVATE TERRACES

CREATE AN IDENTITY WITH SIGNATURE CLIFF ELEMENTS

BY SHAPING THE FOOTPRINT OF THE THREE TOWERS WE OPTIMIZE THE VIEWS TOWARDS THE CITY AND THE VIEWS TOWARDS THE RIVERSIDE ACHIEVING IN THE SAME TIME A HIGH EFFICIENCY FOR THE PLANS.

BY CASCADING THE SKYLINE OF THE ROOF WE OFFER PUBLIC AND PRIVATE TERRACES FOR THE RESIDENTS. THE ICONIC AND VIBRANT SKYLINE BECOMES A NEW POINT OF REFERENCE IN THE NEIGHBOURHOOD.

BY ADDING SIGNATURE ELEMENTS WHICH BRINGS QUALITY TO EACH OF THE ELEMENTS OF THE DIFFERENT PROGRAMS, WE CREATE A STRONG IDENTITY FOR THE INHABITANTS AND MAXIMIZE THE QUALITY OF THE SPACES.

CONCEPTUAL DESIGN FOR HOA LAC’S HIGH-TECH VILLAGE, HANOI, VIETNAM

FLUID LANSCAPE

INTERCONNECTED SPACES

CONCEPTUAL DESIGN FOR THE CENTRAL PARK OF HOA LAC’S HIGH TECH VILLAGE IN HA NOI, VIET NAM. GROUP8ASIA DESIGNED THE MASTER PLAN FOR THE HIGH TECH VILLAGE AND SOME KEY BUILDING SUCH AS FPT’S OFFICE. THE 2 PROPROSITIONS OF THE PARK WAS TO HAVE DIFFERENT POINT OF VIEW ABOUT THE CENTRAL PARK BETWEEN NEW “SILLICON VALLEY” OF VIET NAM. THE FIRST ONE ON THE LEFT IS TO INTEGRATE THE ARTIFICIAL TOPOGRAPHY INTO A FLUID NATURAL LANDSCAPE WHICH IS SMOOTH NOT ONLY IN THE SHAPE, BUT ALSO TO REMIND THE IMAGE OF STEPPED RICE FIELDS (WHICH WAS VERY TRADITIONAL AND UNIQUE IN VIET NAM). THE SECOND ONE ON THE RIGHT IS TO DESIGN AN ARITIFICIAL CIRCLES INSIDE A NORMAL PARK. DIFFERENT CIRCLES HAVE DIFFERENT ACTIVITIES AND ALL OF THESE THINGS MERGED AND MELT INTO AN ATTRACTIVE CENTRAL PARK. TO DEFINE DIFFERENT FEELINGS WHEN PEOPLE OF THE HIGH-TECH VILLAGE CROSS OVER CIRCLES.
