The objective of this project is to address design issues and
requirements related to function at both the large scale of a building and at the intimate scale of specific functional spaces, activities and artifacts. In addition to function, the design of the center should consider human experiences, which address human factors and the sensitivity to human senses. A successful spa design should therefore create special experiences while addressing all functional requirements

RHINO WORKSHOP
This workshop is an introduction to Rhino; a 3d modeling
software program. The course focuses on attaining a comfort level in Rhino but also shows how the program can be used in sync with other programs such as Illustrator and Photoshop to create comprehensive and appealing representational outcomes. The workshop introduces participants to modeling complex surfaces by manually manipulating an existing surface. The objective of the exercise is to be able to import topography into rhino from image and through a series of actions, recreating the surface to conceive of a new landscape on which Farnsworth House will be sited.
