Early Membership Renewal Pays as Your Membership Value Continues to Grow

Most members know the number one reason for being a member of TIADA is the platform we build to give you a collective professional voice at the state Capitol and with state regulators. This is articulated very well in this month’s cover story, and I want to reiterate how important it is for you to register for and participate in this year’s TIADA Day at the Capitol. But the benefits of being a member don’t stop at the Capitol doorsteps.

We are always looking for new programs to help increase the value of your membership. In just the last five years, we have introduced member discounts for new in-person and online education programs, discounts to attend the annual conference, a more robust compliance consultation service, an industry email that goes out twice a month, the TIADA CPO Program, and the Auction App — just to name a few. This doesn’t even include some of the benefits that have been around for years, and it doesn’t mean we are resting on our laurels. We have a few new member benefits that will be rolling out in 2023 (that is known as a teaser).

However, some of these benefits have a shelf life. If you don’t attend the conference, you don’t benefit from the discount; if you don’t read the magazine or the industry email, you miss the important information inside. The TIADA Auction App is similar. If you haven’t downloaded the auction app to your smartphone, you can’t take advantage of the auction coupon savings found on the app. Oh, but there is more…

Many of the auctions have agreed to put a “special” coupon on the TIADA Auction App that is valid through the month of January—so many auctions that you could easily pay for your membership in one month. That’s right. If you renew your membership before January 31, your app will be loaded with additional “special” coupons that must be used before the end of the month.
