Bloom Into A Bright Start At The Garden School a local school celebrates spring with their upcoming open house Sag Harbor, NY (April 11, 2019)- This spring, the flowers are not the only ones blooming on the East End, yet another magical place located at The Green School (287 Merchants Path, Sagaponack, NY 11962 ). This season they will be blossoming into a bright start with their rays of children by celebrating their pre-k students, hosting their annual open house, as well as launching several new programs for families and community members. Imagine a place where children are growing into bright individuals, animals are loved, and families are celebrating many moments, as well as building a sustainable community together. On May 4th they will host an intimate open house from 11 am until noon where you will be led on a beautiful tour of the grounds and discover a morning or afternoon program for your child budding into their pre-k stage in life. The benefits of their program: Pre-k children tend the soil and grow plants, they care for animals, gather eggs from the chickens, and learn to create food from their animals and gardens as well as bake cakes and bread with those eggs. The Green School is an organic, sustainable, eco-friendly school and a pioneer on the East End, in supporting the development of the whole child.
