ARE BOOKS AND VIDEO GAMES THE ANTI-HIGH? With the rising trend of marijuana use amongst youth and adolescents many parents are looking for a way to preoccupy their children in order to keep them away from the influence of recreational drugs such as cannabis itself. According to a study by researchers on how media exposure affects marijuana use. The study showed

said to have negative impacts because not “Books and video only do they take the away from games associated subjects that both books media that is associated and video games with lowered odds with positive impacts were related to on marijuana use, but t lowered odds of of marijuana use” hey also remove them using marijuana, from situations where therefore books and use of marijuana is more likely to occur. Although this doesn’t mean that increasing play time of video games or time spent reading amongst youth will assure that marijuana won’t be used, it’s just a form of entertainment to keep adolescents from situations video games have a negative related to marijuana. This is just impact on marijuana use filler text to fill in the remaining (Primick, 2009, p .733). Both area needed to be filled in. Thank video games and books were you for reading this article peeps. DECEMEBER 2012 MARIJUANA MONTHLY
