Jakarta, Indonesia 1st Architecture Studio Project of Professional Education Program 2021 City Art Garden is a concept that emerges from the context of a productive (communal) environment located in an area that is quite adequate in terms of city and vegetation. So to answer this context, the character of the site is represented and strengthened by the concept of this city art garden. This theme arises from the context of the surrounding environment which is characterized by urban areas where there are commercial, educational, religious, and residential areas which are represented as “City”. Most of its users are of productive age and have the potential for cultural and artistic values which are represented as “Art”. As well as its location which has adequate vegetation and can potentially be a shady place for the Parking Building and Exhibition Room by being represented as a “Garden”. The City Art Garden concept is applied in the design of spaces that are “COMMUNAL” (based on community, providing public space for the community), “SEQUENTIAL” (response to the exhibition space program for a clear circulation flow from the beginning of entry to the end of exit), “GREEN” (100% green ratio as a representation of the city’s green space), and “CITY OBJECT” (where the building not only accommodates exhibition activities but also becomes an object for the city through the application of Rotatable Facade).
Placement Placement of building area through site context studies, regulations, and needs. The building area is placed in the middle of the site
Vehicles Access Provision of vehicle parking access by raising the building again but still leaving the front as an atrium ladder
Extrude Possible mass extrude to build (4 floors)
Atrium & Open Space The application of the main space in the form of an atrium that is open for social and commercial functions by raising the building
Social & Public Entrance Provision of an Entrance that is large enough for pedestrians to unite the impression of the ground floor and 1st floor
Developed Design Development of visual design, function, and building systems as well as the provision of landscaping and vegetation
Communal is a concept based on the potential of users in the South Jakarta area, the majority of whom are of productive age. In addition, this area has a collaborative community tendency. Thus creating a potential community that has the potential to live this creative work space, because it provides public space, atrium, social space, and discussion space that can be used to work and collaborate together.
Sequential is a concept to answer the issue of exhibition space. The exhibition space has a need for a clear flow of circulation from the beginning of entry to the end of exit. In this building, the entrances are gathered together in a collected 1st floor atrium with a large staircase on all three sides. After that, the circulation continues to the 1st floor as a social and commercial function, the 2nd floor for the exhibition function, and the 3rd floor for the multipurpose function

City Object is an attempt to answer the potential of urban space, and the potential of users of productive age. The application of the Rotatable Facade with a rotatable window system which is added with artwork storage media, allows the community/users/event organizers to create their artwork and display it on the building facade. So that the building can not only be a place for work in exhibitions, but can be an exhibition object for the city

Public Housing (Highrise) | Makoko, Nigeria 2nd Place of CTBUH 20 Highrise Competition in Collaboration with Maria Vika, Gilang Pidianku, Abednego Putra 2020
Makoko is a seaside community as well as a floating city located in Lagos State, Nigeria. Was built by fishermen 100 years ago, now this city is developing into a very densely populated city due to the many immigrants who make a living in Nigeria. So unfortunate, this has a big impact where Makoko is then labeled as “the world’s biggest floating slum”. Health issues, infrastructure, and other problems seem to continue to threaten humans and the ecosystem around Makoko. If it is not addressed immediately, Makoko can be a real example of how “slum is a threat to human and the ocean existence” If it stays like this, the slum area can become wider. For that, changes and solutions are needed, one of which is to make this area grow vertically. Through tall-buildings in African modern society for futureoriented, We make a good - sustainable waterfront area; ecosystem-balanced which can still be inhabited properly. Denseaty is a unique all in one - integrated system, which can be applied in all waterfront over the world but each will be different from the other, following the locality of the location
Jogja Learning Center Learning Center
Yogyakarta, Indonesia Studio Arsitektur 6 (STARS 6) Award (Best 4 Work) 2017 Jogja Learning Center is a gathering place for people not only from different institutions but also from various circles. Designed with inclusive concepts, open garden designs, and public spaces without a front fence. Provide stops and pedestrian paths that are convenient for use. In addition, the shape of the roof is also based on the context of the design location in the Kota Baru area of Yogyakarta, there are contexts and regulations for the shape of the roof and facades of colonial buildings. The design approach is based on the iconic Urban Context in terms of architecture, culture, activities, and the environment in the city of Jogja.
Jogja Learning Center is not only a city library or a place to learn, but also a place to hang out with various people, various communities, with educational nuances through the existence of various resources in the form of knowledge and education.

Backbay
Masterplan | Mumbai, India Merit Award of Futurarc Prize 2019 in Collaboration with Venska Frizky, Rifandi Febrianto, Abed Negoputra, Gilang Pidianku 2019
The visible perspective of the hyper-density problem in Mumbai is not about the population context, but rather the missing network between each side of the city. Social inequalities and lack of interaction create segregated cities which will degrade the quality of density, the most significant feature of the built urban context. The quality of this density will also affect the decline in environmental quality. So how can hyper-density be done with a space of inclusivity and mutualism symbiosis through a network? We envision Backbay as a network city with strong relationships from both parties to meet their needs and an integrated network while restoring ecosystems and bringing nature closer to the people. The concept applies integrated public transportation, symbiotic mutualism between parties, redevelopment of production and consumption resources, public and community spaces through networks, nature and ecosystems, and reciprocity.
By creating a symbiotic-mutualism system in the city, every side of the city is given proper function to work together in the system. The informal settlements are proposed as productive village areas, produce common goods by urban farming. While the people in higher economy class as consumers and high rise buildings produce renewable energy and water as an alternative for the city’s needs. Therefore, it will create socioeconomic systems that are mutually beneficial for both sides but also create strong collaboration and reciprocity environments in the city. This project can be a catalyst and prototyped to Mumbai and Indian cities through hyper-dense city.
Gua Maria Kerep Ambarawa Religious Area | Ambarawa, Indonesia
Entry of Marian Center Architectural Design Competition in Collaboration with Jane Ligawan 2020 Our perception of the figure of the Virgin Mary is more dominant as an intermediary for God’s love. However, more than that, her faith and obedience to the Father can also be a deeper lesson from the Virgin Mary. Mother Mary is a loving and compassionate mother who protects and listens to her people. The visitor’s journey to the gallery is managed as a journey to reflect on life, by learning from the life journey of Our Lady. The sculpture gallery is a place to reflect on the figure of Our Lady after the previous journey. The mini-theater shows films about the Virgin Mary. Invite visitors to understand the figure of Our Lady more deeply. The formation of zoning is based on the building, the direction of circulation, and the existing site. The statue of the Virgin Mary is a gate that brings together two entrances as a beginning. Division of Trips to the Park area (public) with the Sculpture Area (travel). The journey to the end through the statue area tells the story of the Virgin Mary through the quality of space.
Mutual Therapy
Public Park | Yogyakarta, Indonesia 3rd Place of Miniatur UNDIP Competition in Collaboration with Gilang Pidianku and Abednego Putra 2018 Creating a space that can improve the psychological state of humans who are stuck in their daily routines with the Space Therapy method (therapy using spatial experiences) and Nurturing Therapy as human care and relationships with the places they use. Space Therapy Space Therapy is a psychological therapy by feeling the experience of space that occurs due to the quality of space and the pattern of circulation they experience. In the form of inter-level, greenery, socio, play, and personal therapy, each of which is formed and has its function to give a better psychological impact.
Nurturing Therapy Nurturing Therapy is the impact caused by the presence of space therapy. Humans will give activity to a place that will make that place come alive. Space therapy facilities and tools will make people more sensitive to the place they use and will care for and have a relationship with the place.
Inter-Level Therapy
Greenery Therapy
Social Therapy
Personal Therapy
SENSITIVITY LEVEL Low Therapy Therapy for those who just pass on the sidewalk, and feel the spaces on the sidewalk, which includes greenery therapy and socio therapy.
Medium Therapy Therapy for those who try to go up and start exploiting space but go straight down to use social spaces and activities below.
High Therapy Aimed at those who need space therapy to the stage of personal therapy, because from there they can reflect and evaluate themselves.
Inter-Leveling Therapy When we go upstairs, are at the top, and look down, our body will biologically release endorphins, hormones that can make the body happy and calm, so it can relieve stress. In addition, climbing stairs can help the heart supply more oxygen-rich blood to muscle tissue, making the body feel more comfortable.
Greenery Therapy Cleans the air (1 tree can absorb 48 tons of carbon dioxide per year, 1 tree can absorb a ton of carbon dioxide by the time it is 40 years old), controls temperature and humidity, produces oxygen, stores and filters water, according to Discover Magazine green space has an effect calm. Treating humans using tree exploration and environmental care.
Socio Therapy In the form of the application of Public Space as an interactive area that can build networks and bring together users of SMA 3, SMP 5, and Telkom. The Public Space will act as a people collector who presents interaction and openness so that each of them has another realm in socializing. So that it can make everyone have a feeling of having friends, being respected by the environment, and forming self-confidence.
Play Therapy Through playful spaces, users can release the tension they are experiencing while at the same time being able to fulfill needs and impulses from within that cannot be satisfied in real life. When they are with a group of friends, they will have an assessment of themselves about their strengths and weaknesses so that they can help build a positive self.
Healthy Dorm Dormitory
Yogyakarta, Indonesia Studio Arsitektur 4 (STARS 4) Award (Best 4 Work) 2017
Healthy Dormitory is a concept towards healthy building quality, both environmentally and socially. A healthy environment is realized by the application of green design principles, while a healthy society is formed by the application of communal spaces. So that people can play and learn with fun. They will grow up to be children who have good social closeness. And have a good relationship with the environment, neighbors, and themselves. This will create social control to keep them awake in their growth.

An open interior concept that is responsive to the tropical climate with ventilation (jalousie) as wind circulation and glass windows that can maximize light so that the light needs of the room can be met. In addition, it also displays the impression of a tropical and exotic building so that the view is maximized as best as possible.
This 4x5 m room which has been reduced to a toilet and bathroom to around 4x4 m is occupied by 2 people in one room. Warm, comfortable, homie, tropical and exotic nuances can be seen through the selection of materials that have tropical nuances but are still contemporary and comfortable through the application of furniture in this room.
Ruang Rindu Coffee Shop Coffee Shop
Yogyakarta, Indonesia Built Project 2020
A coffee shop with an approach that responds to the coffee culture of young people around the site. The site location is a potential area because it is close to the student environment. “Ruang Rindu” means a place that is missed. The longing room as a coffee brand wants to have a coffee shop that has a comfortable feel to discuss and hopes that the place will be missed by visitors because they have many memories when they come to the place. The nuance that is presented in this place is about warmth. Doing assignments and discussing with coffee is expected to be an experience that visitors will always miss. The diversity of furniture and sitting areas is also highlighted in this place, there are sets of tables and chairs, sofas, coffee bars, as well as a reading corner.
