happy (elated, overjoyed) -your team won -you got a great report card -it’s your birthday

surprised (shocked) -the bill is so high -the president resigned -there is a giraffe in your house

scared (frightened, afraid) -there is a spider on you -something is coming for you -you saw a ghost

sad (depressed, upset) -you broke up with your boyfriend/girlfriend -your best friend is moving to another city -you lost

frustrated -you can’t figure out what’s wrong with the computer -the instructions are terrible -you keep missing the ball

tired (exhausted) -you stayed up late studying for a test -the baby kept you up all night -you had a hard day at work

worried (concerned) -you have so many bills to pay -the stock market is crashing -your friend is very sick

confused (baffled, puzzled) -the teacher is talking too fast -the problem is too complicated -the map doesn’t make any sense

excited (thrilled, delighted) -you are going on a trip -you are meeting an old friend -you won the lottery

relieved -you found your wallet -you passed the test -the doctor says you healthy

angry (mad, furious) -your computer crashed -the ref made a bad call are -you are stuck in traffic

bored -you are stuck inside because of the rain -you have nothing to do -the guy next to you is talking too much
