Selling Amazon Products Can Be Your Ticket To Financial Freedom This is not a "get-rich-quick" scheme and I am not claiming you will make $43,750 in one week. If you are looking for a get rich quick plan, then you might want to look for another ebook. You will not have trouble finding one, they are everywhere. This is a common sense and long-term business plan, that if you apply it correctly, with a little patience, persistence and hard work, will have you earning $75 a day or more within a month or 2. This will depend on how much time and work you invest into this plan. Contrary to what some people might want you to believe, internet
marketing does take some work. For anyone unfamiliar with Amazon, they have an affiliate program which helps them make more sales. It is free to sign up, easy to get approved, and when you are approved you just include links to Amazon.com products on your own website or blog, tweet your followers on Twitter with a link to an Amazon product, or promote to your Facebook friends. Any time somebody clicks on your unique Amazon link and purchases the product you are promoting, you get a commission from Amazon. Look for products to sell with Amazon that are already selling and have a demand. I know, I know, it sounds simple and logical but too many people try to promote products that very few people would be interested in buying. I would recommend promoting the latest and hottest selling products in each section of Amazon (electronics, clothing, music, video games, etc.) or finding a desperate niche. Some examples of desperate niches are : supplements to relieve insomnia or joint pain, books on how to deal with a serious problem like addictions, problem teen-agers, how to avoid foreclosure, get out of
debt, etc. Of course you would look for the most recent or best-selling offerings for these desperate niche solutions. If you are marketing to people on Twitter for example, most twitter users are other marketers like you and me. When you tweet to them, a good bet would be to tweet about books (with your amazon link of course) related to social marketing, facebook marketing, etc. Amazon has a lot of marketing books available, I have even bought a couple myself. If you have thousands of followers on Twitter, this can be a good way to earn commissions from Amazon. Keep adding new followers to your Twitter account as much as possible. If you have thousands of friends on Facebook, then promote things that are needed or desired by a large number of people. Some examples would be weight loss books, supplements, beauty products, natural remedies, books on getting out of debt,career change, dating, raising children, pets, etc. If you put up a link trying to sell a book about basket weaving, you will not get a whole lot of sales compared to weight loss books or weight loss supplements for example. Create facebook fan pages or groups and invite all your thousands of friends to join. Fanpages on Facebook are easier to grow virally, because each person who joins will often have some of his or her friends also join, often without the original person even inviting them to join.
Facebook groups are not as good at growing in the viral way that fanpages do. But the advantage with FB groups is that you can send a message to all members of the group at the same time. The message will show up in their email inbox as coming from Facebook with the name of your group. So essentially you will have an opt-in list to receive your messages and because the messages are coming from Facebook, will get opened and read more often. I am sure you have heard "the money is in the list". It is repeated so many times, because it is true ! When I had only 300 people in my list or only 1,000 followers on Twitter, my earnings were much less than today. Scale up your Facebook account and your Twitter account as much as possible and within a month or 2, you will be well on your way to making $75 a day or more in commissions from Amazon. Amazon Selling Tips Create a website or a free blogspot on blogger.com and write really good product reviews for each specific product. Some Proven Sellers On Amazon Here are a few tried and true sellers on Amazon that will probably be
easiest for you to start earning commissions : The Amazon Kindle Reader (and accessories for it) Toys - If you have kids of your own then I am sure you know what the hottest toys are. If not, then check the best-sellers section in the Toys section of Amazon. Create a blog or website about these toys and you should be earning commission in no time. Especially at Christmas time ! Software is a reliable money maker throughout the year on Amazon. Check the bestsellers list to see which titles are selling well at any time. Digital cameras sell really well on Amazon. Their prices are pretty competitive. Cameras sell especially well in the spring and summer and at Christmas time as lots of people give them as gifts. Video Games And Consoles Amazon sells a lot of playstations, Nintendo Wiis and X-Boxes and the games that go with them. Although there is lots of competition in this niche, the market is so huge, that even a small piece of the pie can earn you lots of money. Your sales at Christmas time will explode if you do some article marketing and post links to your Facebook friends. Digital Photo Frames These are a very good seller which many people are not aware of. The beauty of digital photo frames is that they make a great gift because they can be customized with any set of photos desired. People buy a lot of these for Mother´s Day, Father´s Day, and of course during Christmas season. Use more text links on your site and limit the widgets when referring people to Amazon. The widgets are really nifty and would seem to sell more, but for some reason a plain text link usually works better.
It seems that people are turned off by the widgets because it is more obvious that you are trying to sell something. Your ultimate goal should be to get your visitors to click on through to Amazon. The amazon site will do a much better job at selling than you or I could ever do. If you want to create a website to sell amazon products, then register a domain name (I use namecheap.com) and make it something like: buycheapipad.com or buycheapiphone4.com or iphone4reviews.com After you buy the domain name, then set up your site with your review of the product and place your amazon text links. If you prefer, you can create a free blog on blogger.com and use the same strategy. In addition to promoting your site to your facebook friends and your fanpages and to your Twitter followers, you can also promote your site with social bookmarking (I use onlywire), with some articles posted to ezinearticles, goarticles, articlesbase, etc. Squidoo lenses, and Hubpages. Another very good resource for advertising that is cheap but very effective is a site called Fiverr.com You can find many good advertising deals for 5 bucks in their "social marketing" and "advertising" sections. I have found people there that will invite many thousands of facebook friends to join my facebook groups or fanpages for only 5 bucks. I always get a return on my investment when I use Fiverr. You can also get your site visited by many thousands of Facebook users if you don´t have a facebook fanpage or group. I have had better results
with advertising my Facebook fanpages though, as opposed to a website. Use StumbleUpon To Make Sales If you have a well written article posted on ezinearticles, articlesbase, on a hubpage, etc. and it is describing the benefits of a useful item that has a broad appeal, you can stumble it using StumbleUpon and make sales. I use this technique often to sell amazon products. The item could be a new gadget that everyone "has to have" like the newest iPhone or something like the Kindle reader.
Hot Tip For Selling Books There are several website builders that web host providers offer that have a pre-built 'Book Buying' page. These website builders let you easily include a page that lists any quantity of Amazon.com books. By 'easily' I mean the website builder should allow you to simply enter a topic and the number of books to display, and the website builder does the rest automatically. A good website builder will even give you the choice of making the page interactive for your visitors by including a text box in which a visitor types a subject of interest and the web page returns Amazon.com -supplied information about any number of books on that topic.
