LETTER FROM THE PUBLISHER Thank you all for the kind messages and moving words that you sent us after launching our first issue. Our goal and desire in launching our magazine was to give our readers time to relax, slow down, and enjoy the moment. I’m so happy that we have accomplished this. Our second issue gives you insight into the world of architecture and interior design. The collection of interviews and projects show how designers make our environments comfortable and peaceful and create a sense of calm and serenity. In the same way that architecture and design create a personal feeling, I think fashion is one of the great pleasures in life, an instant language, an individual’s statement of self-expression. This issue offers a translation for the coming season and is suffused with the ideas and inspiration that it can bring. I love the feeling of coming across a photo and immediately being transported and immersed into a new place. Our “Destination” section is full of photos that will transport you away from the mundanity of your day-today life, and immerse you in nature, providing you with a wider view of the wonder of the pure world.
GISLAINE MACEK EDITOR-IN-CHIEF | PUBLISHER
With a passion for art, I believe that art adds something precious and completely unique to our lives. It’s why we are presenting inspirational pictures from innovative artists, thinkers in conservation – and collaborating with writers and fashion brands to save and protect endangered species. TIMELESS was born to be a unique, bolder, and braver magazine. We want to give important voices a place to talk about what they stand for – and work with inspiring people to provoke stimulating thoughts. I am so proud of what our team has created and curated on these pages. Our goal was to use an approach That Will Inspire You to See the World. There’s so much I could say about what’s in these pages, but in the end, I think it is better to leave you to discover for yourselves. So read on. Enjoy. I hope you will find each page to be as inspiring and relaxing as I do.

TIM FLACH A REFLECTION ON ANIMALS NEAR EXTINCTION
ONE OF THE MOST INFLUENTIAL ANIMAL PHOTOGRAPHERS IN THE WORLD, TIM FLACH’S WORK SHIFTS BOTH PUBLIC AND SCIENTIFIC PERCEPTION OF THE NATURAL WORLD, FOSTERING AN UNDERSTANDING THAT IS MORE COMPATIBLE WITH THE DEMANDS OF THE ECOLOGICAL CRISIS. FLACH IS A SELF-DESCRIBED ANIMAL PHOTOGRAPHER; NOT A WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHER, INTERESTED IN HOW HUMANS ENGAGE WITH ANIMAL IMAGERY, AND HOW THAT ENGAGEMENT CAN BE USED IN VISUAL STORYTELLING FOR CONSERVATION PURPOSES.

Flach brings his keen observations on the interactions and perceptions of people and animals. Ann accomplished author, his first two published books, Equus (2008) and Dogs: Gods (2010), critically observed the mythology and ethics of humanity’s relationships with horses and dogs.
Flach intends to use his work to change people’s awareness of nature and ecology. His early fine art photographs, the abstract Horse Mountain (2003), earned him international recognition, while Monkey Eyes (2003) won him a prestigious Gold Award.

MORE THAN HUMAN (2012) IS A SERIES OF PORTRAITS AND ABSTRACTS WHICH EXPLORES THE IDIOSYNCRASIES OF MANY SPECIES. THE PHOTOGRAPHS EXAMINE HOW HUMANS HAVE SHAPED ANIMAL BIOLOGY. THEY WORK RAISED PERTINENT ETHICAL, POLITICAL, CULTURAL, ECOLOGICAL, AND PHILOSOPHICAL QUESTIONS ABOUT THE RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN HUMAN AND NON-HUMAN ANIMALS. TIM’S WORK WAS ALSO ORGANIZED INTO A BOOK, EVOLUTION (2014), WHICH EXAMINED THE DEVELOPMENT OF HIS PHOTOGRAPHIC STYLE AND EVOLUTION IN THE ORGANIC WORLD.
Timeless Magazine |
21
His style is often described as “stylized animal portraiture.” But Flach is also experienced in landscape and wildlife photography. For his latest book, Endangered (2017), Tim has begun to consider photography as a means to communicate threats to ecological stability. He has traveled around the world photographing species on the edge of extinction. Tim photographed the last male Northern White Rhino in Kenya, and many scarce species in the wild – the Ploughshare Tortoise, Scimitar Oryx, and White-Backed Vulture.
Flach uses emotions of kinship evoked by his portraiture to connect viewers to the environments where threatened species live. Flach’s core belief is that emotional response leads to direct action. Using the principles behind the art of human portraiture, Flach brings these critical issues to the center of his photographs. With an approach centered on the animal’s personalities, his work provokes a powerful emotional response in the viewer, encouraging them to rethink their place within the natural world.
“AS IMAGES ARE ONE OF THE BEST AND MOST EFFECTIVE METHODS OF HUMAN COMMUNICATION IN THIS AGE, I SEEK TO MOVE PEOPLE’S FEELINGS AND RAISE THEIR AWARENESS, THROUGH THE STORIES I TELL THEM WITH IMAGES.” Tim Flach

THE SUBLIME ART BETWEEN FICTION AND REALITY
FLAVIA
JUNQUEIRA Renowned artist Flavia Junqueira is a keen observer of modern-day materialism, inviting us to delve deep into emotions and fantasy. Junqueira’s works embody the sounds of the feverish, colorful movement found at fairs and parties, while the energy of her images is crystallized within the beauty of carousel horses, colorful balloons, and elements remitting childhood memories. The spirit of her work lies within the confusion of the viewer - of not knowing how far the artist has intervened in creating these spaces. Junqueria’s images belie a sort of uncertainty, of things that are not entirely fictitious or real.
Timeless Magazine |
25
Born in 1985 in Sao Paulo where she lives and works today, Junqueira’s art portrays the connections between people, objects, the space they occupy, and the memories they make. Her acclaimed self-portraits present the duality of material consumption and human interaction.
Brightly colored displays, arranged in a variety of textures and hues, threaten to crush her human subjects beneath mountains of glossy plastics whose excessive presence exudes an innate sense of alienation.

JUNQUEIRA HAS PARTICIPATED IN THE RESIDENCY PROGRAMS OF IZOLYATSIA’S PLATFORM FOR CULTURAL INITIATIVES IN UKRAINE, AND CITÉ INTERNATIONALE DÊS ARTS IN PARIS. “BEAUTY IS THE APPREHENSION OF THAT WHICH PLEASES” ARISTOTLE 300 BC, WHILE STUDYING UNDER PLATO.
For 2300 years we have had a relationship with beauty, the arts and design. It’s a relationship that is in our souls and in our DNA. And is ignited today every time we come to experience it. Interior design is a unique blend of creativity and functionality, the art of enhancing the interior of a building to achieve a healthier and more aesthetically pleasing environment. Interior designers must not only create timeless spaces that look beautiful and are pleasing to the eye, but to create a space that’s comforting – both physically and mentally – and encourages positive emotions and feelings like creativity, happiness, and inner peace.
To understand more about the interior design process, and how designers are able to balance aesthetics and comfort to create unique, inspired interiors that fit their client’s taste and lifestyle, we’ve invited three top interior designers to share their knowledge with us. These designers know how to combine their own imagination with their client’s requirements and needs to create unique, one-of-a-kind living spaces. They have years of combined industry experience and at the same time are the future of, and leaders of, design in the years to come. They too, understand, many years after it was first spoken... that beauty is the apprehension of that which pleases!

Interview Michelle Castagna
MICHELLE CASTAGNA OWNER OF MUSE DESIGN STUDIO MICHELLE IS A DISTINCTIVE DESIGNER WITH OVER 20 YEARS OF INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE. SHE IS FOCUSED ON INNOVATIVE THINKING AND STRIVES TO CREATE INTERIORS THAT TELL THE UNIQUE STORY ABOUT WHO HER CLIENTS ARE AND WHO THEY WANT TO BE. SHE FEELS THAT WHEN A ROOM IS DESIGNED WELL, ONE CAN EXPERIENCE LIFE IN A MORE POSITIVE AND BALANCED WAY. SHE NOT ONLY CREATES AESTHETIC BEAUTY, BUT ALSO A SERIES OF EMOTIONAL EXPERIENCES FOR THE END USER THAT LEAVES THEM FEELING A TRUE SENSE OF HOME.
What are some of your biggest inspirations? Wow, Inspiration comes from so many places, both visual and emotional. The beauty of that amazing and unexpected moment when something strikes you and speaks to your soul is that you never know what direction it will lead you until it happens. I draw inspiration for my projects from many different places-nature, textures, patterns, but I find that when I allow the uniqueness of each client to become my true inspiration, it leads us to the best end result.
How do you describe your work style as? Most of my local projects are second homes and clients want to embrace what Florida has to offer. They want warmth, comfort, and the sense of being on a vacation. My overall aesthetic tends to be a collected layering of clean lines and soothing colors mixed with interesting
textures and finishes. I often have the fortunate opportunity of designing the interior architectural elements and those impact my work just as much, if not more, than the decorative elements themselves.
What is your philosophy on design and life? Personally, I am trying to live my own life only with what resonates with me. I try to delve deep into what my clients truly desire and create a space that represents what feels pure and authentic to them. When I do, my job is easy and the talent we possess as designers pours out. We then design instinctually and naturally. I always say, enhance the space and enhance the humans that inhabit it. It makes me smile knowing that I possess the ability to emotionally and visually impact the way someone experiences their daily life.

59
What is one of your client’s favorite pieces that you designed? Tough one, but as of recent, I would have to say a stunning and massive display case separating a foyer from a living room on a project I am wrapping up. The client is a collector of antiquities so he wanted the residence to feel like a home but also a museum. The surround of the display is clad in gorgeous marble and the interior has massive thick adjustable suspended acrylic shelves. Each display cavity is surrounded by soft light to create a glow around the featured artifacts and the pieces displayed within the cabinet…well those are truly priceless.
How would your clients say they feel about what you’ve done for them? Interestingly enough, most answer with an impactful description of a feeling VS aesthetics. One client beautifully said “ Our home allows us to truly be ourselves, whatever we are doing or however we are independently or collectively feeling. Our decor definitely impacts our overall mood and sensory awareness. It seems as though our ability to appreciate beauty in other parts of our respective or joint lives are awakened when in our home. Our senses have been elevated by the aesthetics of our present surroundings to an extent which we had not predicted, but are now able to acknowledge and be thankful for.” Wow, just wow!
What are you working on at the moment? I am working on a variety of exciting design projects at the moment. I have also taken a board position with IFDA Florida as VP of community relations. This gives me the ability to organize events that positively impact our community. Additionally, I have been speaking around the US hoping to empower designers-remind them of the value they bring to the table. We have the ability to provide wellness and health benefits through our creative gift. I will always love designing, but I also love giving back and am blessed that I have these opportunities.
What colors, materials and patterns are you into right now? I have been obsessing over that deep, yummy, and saturated emerald green tone for a while now. I have a client who loves green so I finally get to use it! I am also loving these massive oversized modern florals that are popping up everywhere. I am not big on what is trending per se, but these items make me do a happy dance when I see them.
In general I am liking something bold and impactful mixed into the serenity and neutrality of what most clients have been craving.
Latest design object obsession… I recently stumbled upon these unique stools and cushions by Knots Studio (www.knots-studio.com) that I absolutely adore. The knot itself provides a nautical flair making them a perfect addition to any Florida interior. They could be used in a casual beach house or placed in the most upscale and sophisticated interior. I just found them and immediately had to order a few for a project and cannot wait to get them!
A secret source you’re willing to share… There are so many so it is hard to say. I recently used a product that although they are a booming company and are right here in our back yard, they were somehow off my radar. The company is called Kinon. Kinon® is a proprietary crafted art sheet for luxury surfaces. It is created as a composite with MDF or alone to be used as a surface material like veneer, laminate or tile. It is a spectacular product. To any local designers, I highly recommend you go check out their facility.
What’s next on the horizon… The beauty is that I do not know the exact answer. I know I work hard and will continue to be successful because I love what I do. I fully believe in continuing my personal growth and to stay true to myself and remain authentic. If I do me, then all the right things will follow. I know I possess the drive and talent needed to thrive. I love to learn, experience new things, and push myself outside my comfort zone. I am a planner by nature but instead right now, I am seeing where the path leads me and I am very excited for the future of Muse Design Studio.

Interview Sherry Lee
SHERRY LEE RISE & DESIGN IS THE CULMINATION OF RESIDENTIAL INTERIOR STYLIST SHERRY LEE’S LIFELONG LOVE OF ALL THINGS SOPHISTICATED, BEAUTIFUL AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, LIVABLE. HER PASSION FOR DESIGN IS MATCHED ONLY BY HER TIRELESS QUEST FOR THE EXCEPTIONAL YET TO BE DISCOVERED—A PURSUIT THAT TAKES HER AROUND THE WORLD AND BACK AGAIN—TO CREATE HOMES THAT ARE CURATED AND PEACEFUL.
What are some of your biggest inspirations?
What is your philosophy on design and life?
One of my hobbies and something that I find beneficial to my work and growth as a designer is traveling to different parts of the world, seeking out new and exciting design elements for my projects. I draw inspiration from artsy boutique hotels such as The Brody House in Budapest, which is rich in history and who’s design is a collaboration of the 11 artists who once had a studio there.
My philosophy on design and life is that a well-designed, organized, properly lit home can and most often does, enhance overall mental wellbeing. I also believe that designing a home to reflect my client’s lifestyle and personality is essential part of my design philosophy. If my client has a passion for music, for instance, it would only make sense that I incorporate this into many facets of my design, in order to reflect who they are, what they are all about, and what makes them feel good.
How do you describe your work style as? I have an affinity for beautiful things and an appreciation for pretty much all styles. For me, in order to have style, it must also evoke a feeling of peace and comfort and feel inviting as well. Therefore, one of the common threads in all my projects, regardless of the style I am designing at the moment, is a feeling of positive energy and tranquility the moment you walk through the front door..
What is one of your client’s favorite pieces that you designed? I had a client who was passionate about the color red and she was also an avid sports fisherman. We were searching to no avail for some time for the perfect art piece for her entry way that reflected both her favorite color as well as her favorite hobby. I surprised her by painting a very large canvas of a fish using just the bones, in bright red... 7 years later, she still tells her friends, “If my designer can’t find it… she’ll make it for you!”
Timeless Magazine |
63
How would your clients say they feel about what you’ve done for them? One of the best compliments I ever received was in the first year I started my design business. My clients told me that I taught them to think outside of the box when it came to the design of their home. This allowed them to have a home that they were “excited to wake up to, and come home to,” and that because of this, they were “living in a home that was designed beyond our wildest dreams and expectations.” Ever since then, I’m not afraid to throw out cutting-edge ideas because I really feel most clients turn to a designer for this very reason: they need someone to think outside of the box..
What are you working on at the moment? I have been working on several large remodel projects in the Boca Raton and Delray Beach area that are all finishing up around the same time. Now comes the best part... when
I put my finishing design touches on a house and make it into a warm and inviting home. This is the styling aspect of my business, and the part I enjoy the most. I offer a concierge design service which means if my client wants, I will finish the home right down to the linens, dishes, and a toothbrush.
What colors, materials and patterns are you into right now? At the moment, I am using a lot of white and neutrals colors paired with neutral snakeskin and faux Hyde wallpapers. I love using wallpaper as a backdrop for an entertaining area of the home. I never liked the look of a television on a plain wall but when you put the right wallpaper behind it, it places the focus on the paper instead of the television when it’s not in use.
Latest design obsession…
What’s next on the horizon…
My latest design obsession is my constant design obsession, which is lighting. In my invariable search for the most beautiful oversized lighting, I am especially drawn to those that incorporate natural stones or gems such as agate, selenite, or amethyst.
The next line of business on my design horizon is to continue designing and sketching my own creations for a line of high end, nature inspired of lighting sconces. At the moment, I am designing a pair of gold casted snake sconces that are made of various types of stones including tigers’ eye, turquoise, onyx, and jade. I am hoping to have the prototype finished by the holidays. That would be a very good way for me to finish another wonderfully successful and creative year as an interior designer.
A secret source you’re willing to share… My secret source that I am willing to share is to always go to the Kips Bay Showhouse, or any showhouse for that matter. Here, you will always find inspiration that you can bring back to your own clients and even to my own personal space. What’s better than getting inspiration from top designers, all in one space?

Interview Jaime Blomquist
JAIME BLOMQUIST JAIME SEEKS TO NOT ONLY CREATE INTERIORS AND EXTERIORS THAT ARE AESTHETICALLY PLEASING AND FUNCTIONAL, BUT ALSO TO MANIFEST SPACES THAT REFLECT AND DEFINE HER CLIENTS PERSONAS. AS SHE FACILITATES BRINGING HER CLIENTS VISIONS TO FRUITION, SHE REPEATEDLY SURPASSES INITIAL EXPECTATIONS. JAIME IS AN EXPERT AT TAKING THE FORMIDABLE “BLANK CANVAS” AND BREATHING LIFE INTO A SPACE, REVEALING ITS TRUEST POTENTIAL.
What are some your biggest inspirations? I am inspired by life and the abundant beauty within it. That beauty is all around us: In the eyes of a good friend, the colors that surround us, the wind blowing through the leaves of a hundred-year-old tree. I draw inspiration from that moment of silence when we pause, observe and really absorb the world around us. By listening to and trusting our inner voice, we find inspiration to do what we are created to do.
How do you describe your work style? Timeless and Classic. Understated, simple and sophisticated. Timeless design is not about trends – it is neither avantgarde, fussy, ornate nor opulent. It is subtle, adaptable and
lasting. Classic interior design deals with perfect harmony, balance and order. Classic interiors get to the essence, or heart, of a space. They are iconic, meaningful and often strikingly simple.
What is your philosophy on life and design? Listening is a key and necessary element to great design. It is vital to listen to our client and truly understand their needs and wants. With that understanding, we then listen to our own inner voice, reflecting on past experiences and memories. We bring those beautiful “snapshots” of life’s images – both the client’s and our own - to life in the spaces we design.

What is one of your Clients’ favorite design projects? One of the projects that comes to mind is a custom home we designed several years ago. After listening to the client and their needs, which included an open floor plan yet also a desire for a space that felt cozy, we designed a living room built-in that included a gas fireplace beneath the TV. At first, the clients were understandably confused as to why we needed a fireplace in Florida, considering it is 90 degrees outside, 90% of the time. I asked them to please trust the design and happily, they did. Five years later, we still receive text messaged pictures of their tootsies on the ottoman with a wine glass in view as they enjoy the ambiance of the gas fireplace. Not only is it visually interesting to gaze into, but gives a feeling of being on vacation while remaining in the comfort of your living room.
How would your clients say they feel about what you’ve done for them? Just one example: I recently had a client, who has since become a friend, tell me she’s “at peace” in her home. It
was the ultimate compliment. Design is a transformative process, not just inside the home but inside the souls of the people who live in them.
What are you working on at the moment?
We are working on a gorgeous home in Ashville, North Carolina and have been able to play with a completely different color palette then we usually use in Fort Lauderdale. The windows are twelve feet tall with breathtaking views of the Appalachian Mountains. With all that beauty on display outdoors, we are designing the interiors to flow as one with nature and have drawn inspiration from the local flora and fauna. Wallpaper with over scaled flowers, trees and dragonflies in subdued tones that complement the misty greens and blues seen out the windows grace the walls. The furniture is organic in style and the fabrics are soft in texture and color. Stunning chandeliers are the “jewelry” that add the perfect finishing touch.
What colors, materials and patterns are you into right now? I am loving the resurgence of classic design and colors. Timeless and elegant, black and white is one theme I am excited to see coming back into the mainstream of design. The simplicity and contrast of the color palette really allows us to showcase stunning and intricate water jet and handmade ceramic glazed tile as a design focal point. And, color is back in cabinets! Long gone (thank goodness) are white cabinets in the kitchen. We are using deeply saturated, velvety and moody blue and greens, pairing them with the warmth and richness of walnut woods. Well thought through statement cabinet hardware adds the final touch.
A secret source you’re willing to share… Cambria countertops. This is a quartz stone, handcrafted in America from natural materials but with the durability and strength of a man-made material. Cambria has so many different unique patterns and colors; some of the countertops look like they have gems inside of the stone. Gorgeous. They are a focal point for any kitchen that
will stop your guests in their tracks, eliciting intrigue and admiration. Please see: www.cambriausa.com
Latest design obsession… Cabinets being any color besides white!
What’s next on the horizon… We are excited to be designing new projects in West Palm Beach, Jupiter and Stuart. This area is so appealing as a designer; classic and timeless design has been in vogue here for 70 years. Clients are savvy about classic architecture and interior design and embrace applied moulding, thoughtfully designed cabinets, and wallpaper.

LIFE PRINT
FOR THE FIRST TIME, JAGUARS HAVE INSPIRED A FASHION COLLECTION AND RECEIVE THEIR ROYALTIES DUE.
WITH THE INITIATIVE FROM AMPARA, “LIFE PRINT” IS THE FIRST CERTIFIED ANIMAL PRINT IN THE WORLD WHICH HAS DONATED 100% OF PROFITS TO THE PRESERVATION OF THE SPECIES. CIA. MARÍTIMA IS THE FIRST TO EMBRACE THIS PROJECT.
For hundreds of years, animal beauty has inspired fashion. Unfortunately for the jaguar, they may be present on the runways but endangered in the wild. The species is one step away from extinction. In response, AMPARA Animal has developed an exclusive Jaguar Print. Life Print is the first animal print certified in the world, and 100% of the profits go to the preservation of jaguars. Photographs of real jaguar fur, supported and sheltered by the NGO, have inspired the design. This pioneering act aims to mobilize society against the extinction of the jaguar. The first brand to utilize the certified print is Cia. Marítima, which has just now launched its second Life Print
Collection. It is available in all Brazilian stores, our chains in the U.S, Portugal, and online. All profits will go to the NGO AMPARA Animal. The new Life Print pieces bring vivid orange details to bikinis, kaftans, bodysuits, dresses, and skirts. They offer a super versatile combination that allows the Cia. Marítima clients to create their looks to enjoy their favorite print on and off the sands. THE PROJECT ALSO INVITES BRANDS, STYLISTS, AND CREATORS TO GET IN TOUCH AT WWW.LIFEPRINT.ORG.BR.

Green Planet The Jaguar
THE JAGUAR
THE LARGEST CAT IN THE AMERICAS ROARING TO SURVIVE WRITTEN BY KENZA HENOUDA
A BEAUTIFUL AND MAJESTIC BIG CAT IN THE PANTHERA GENUS. IT IS THE THIRD-LARGEST OF THE BIG CATS, TIGERS AND LION. DESPITE THE ABUNDANCE OF JAGUARS IN THE PAST, THEY ARE NOW ONE OF THE 627 ENDANGERED SPECIES IN THE WORLD. Human activities have been the greatest threat to jaguars for decades, causing it to drastically reduce their original habitat across every country and continent. Increasing man-made environmental changes, as well as deforestation, hunting of wild prey, and the jaguars themselves, are the leading causes of the decline of the species population in Brazil. Latin America leads in terms of land protection, with the highest percentage of government secured areas in contrast to any other region in the world. However, it is not enough to remove the significant threat posed towards the jaguars. Not only have deforestation affected the jaguars, but so have the illegal trade of body parts and fur. These threats have created tremendous pressure on the species, whose overall population and range continue to decrease. Brazil has 516 million hectares of forests, equivalent to 60.7% of the country. Through positive practices, the country has become a significant contributor to environmental preservation, with more than 66% of its territory covered by native vegetation, including the Pantanal, Pampa, Cerrados, and Caatinga. Stretching from Brazil and parts of Paraguay and Bolivia, the Pantanal (the world’s largest tropical wetland area) attracts the largest concentration of wildlife in the continent because of its waterways. The loss of this habitat to agriculture and cattle-raising led animals
STAND FOR WILDLIFE ORGANIZATIONS THAT HELP ENDANGERED ANIMALS
to flee to nearby farms, resulting in massive farm destructions. The United Nations Development Program (UNDP), World Wildlife Fund (WWF), Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS), Panthera, and representatives of various governments, announced the creation of the first International Jaguar Day. It is expected to be held annually on November 29. The goal is to bring attention to the actions threatening this species. The Statement recognizes that investing in the conservation of jaguars, and their habitats can improve broader efforts to manage natural resources, strengthen community livelihoods, and contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. According to Howard Quigley (the executive director of the Panthera organization), the “2030 Roadmap brings jaguar conservation to life, bringing real vision and solutions to the world to protect this iconic and ecologically essential species. This will create excellent economic opportunities and a sustainable future for all.” The progress in this emergency issue demonstrates that it can be prevented, and in some cases, even reversed as populations recover. Maintaining and accelerating this initial success will require a comprehensive regional approach by every single one of us.

Studio received it’s well inspired name from a recording studio that sits on the Provence Estate. Previously owned by jazz musician, Jacques Loussier, the name suits the brand, and the wine, perfectly. The design of the minimalist bottle has been executed with astounding perfection, and is truly reminiscent of the fragrance industry. A blend of Cinsault, Grenache, Rolle and Tibouren grapes give this wine a lovely structure, and this dry rose certainly does not present minimal flavor. Miraval Rose made its debut in 2012, and Studio is certain to follow in it’s very successful footsteps. Intended to encompass the spirit of the French Riviera, this new rose is a common thread that links legacy, location, a musical legend and a love of art. Miraval Castle is a world like no other, organized into dry stone terraces, with perfectly elevated vineyards. Studio by Miraval comes from plots of fresh, beautifully and knowledgeably grown grapes, surrounded by olive and pine
trees. Influenced by the closeness, and the invigorating sea sprays of the Mediterranean sea, the salty soil gives Studio Wine a marvelous balance. A vineyard is an amazing muse. The symphony and beauty of noble materials offer passion and creative inspiration. The spirit of Provence is magnified within the flavors of Studio by Miraval. Studio by Miraval is the definition of exceptional land, reimagined with pure grace and unwavering inspiration.
“THE SAVOIR-FAIRE OF THE PERRIN FAMILY IS UNITED WITH BRAD PITT AND ANGELINA JOLIE’S ARTISTIC SENSITIVITY. TOGETHER, THESE TWO FORMIDABLE FORCES AROUSE THE EXCEPTIONAL, THE UNFORGETTABLE IN A UNIQUE PASSION FOR ART.”

Verrocchio: Sculptor and Painter of Renaissance Florence
Rubens, Rembrandt, and Drawing in the Golden Age
The exhibition examines the wealth and breadth of Verrocchio’s extraordinary artistry by bringing together some 50 of his masterpieces in painting, sculpture, and drawing that allow viewers to appreciate how his work in each art form stimulated creativity in the others. Is the first-ever monographic exhibition in the United States on Andrea del Verrocchio (c. 1435–1488), the innovative artist, painter, sculptor, and teacher whose pupils included Leonardo da Vinci, Pietro Perugino, and likely Sandro Botticelli as well.
Drawing, the most intimate and immediate form of artistic creation, reached one of its pinnacles in the Netherlands during the 17th century—a period commonly known as the Golden Age.. Featuring works by Rembrandt van Rijn, Peter Paul Rubens, Hendrick Goltzius, Gerrit von Honthorst, Jacques de Gheyn II, and many others, the show traces the development of drawing in this period, exploring its many roles in artistic training, its preparatory function for works in other media, and its eventual emergence as a medium in its own right.
