LETTER FROM THE EDITOR Dear reader, I am always looking to create inspiring projects in celebration the beauty of the interior design. With the new collector's edition "DECOR INSPIRATION" we will share every month, unique interiors from talented designers across the globe. In this first issue, we featured the inspiring woman and designer Megan Winters, who with her "Joie de Vivre" creates timeless, classic, welcoming and very joyful spaces. Meet MEGAN WINTERS
Dynamic… Chic… Elegant… Joyful… Glamorous… Full of life… These are just a few of the words used over the years to describe interiors designed by Megan Winters. Known for her fearless use of color, playful touches of gilt, vintage finds mixed with modern pieces, and fresh pops of WOW, Megan creates comfortable yet sophisticated homes that reflect her client’s daily lives and her easy, yet elegant, attitude towards design. Megan took on this design assignment with her signature gusto and the results were enjoyed and celebrated by all — including friends, family and associates who wanted her to design their interiors. One project lead to five and Megan realized that design was her true passion. In 2011 she founded MEGAN WINTERS DESIGN and has been deliriously designing ever since.

An antique burl-wood desk and vintage Napoleon III –style armchairs, give personality for this exuberant office.
For the master bedroom, a rich textiles in black and white makes a bold statement !
Chic Pink
This chic pink and beige bedroom features walls covered in animal print wallpaper lined with abstract nude sketched in gold braided picture frames placed over a pink toile wingback bed dressed in matching pillows flanked by nightstands topped with antique brass pharmacy lamps placed under arched windows. Gold gives a desired glamour. In this bedroom, Megan's add gold to all fixtures. Lamps, frames, side tables..., perfectly matching with the French bed and the armchair.

A relaxed, easy vibe
In order to create a relaxed, easy vibe, Megan incorporates many natural elements. This comes in through the furniture, often made out of wicker, rattan, or light, white wood, and blue details.

White is Key
It's all about natural light, a white room is going to make the space feel even airier. To a perfect palette, true blues, crisp whites and pale blue-green shades
By Megan, “ I am constantly being inspired by almost all things visual. It could be something I see on my morning walks or driving to a jobsite. Of course I adore perusing magazines (I love touching the pages) and am obsessed with books on art, fashion, architecture, design, gardening… anything visually beautiful can be mesmerizing to me. Traveling, museums, art galleries, books, and magazines all prove wonderful sources of inspiration, but at least as often for me it’s seeing the “day-to-day”, things in fresh ways that proves the most exciting sparks for new ideas.” Megan Winters.
