Maraetai Beach Boating Club is situated 20 mins East of Botany Town Centre and is a focal point for local members and their families. With a thriving membership and strong demand from the public as a wedding venue the club needs a Bar and Functions Manager with strong commercial and relationship skills to ensure the ongoing success of the facility.

You will have your LCQ and Managers licence and have put them to good use in recent times. In addition time spent in venue management for weddings and the like would be an advantage. You will also bring an ability to create strong relationships with club members, suppliers and local authorities. You will be responsible for the day to day operation of the bar including rostering of staff, stock purchasing and bar trending. To be successful in this position you will require excellent written and oral communication skills, have strong leadership ability, the ability to train Junior staff to the required standard, maintain a close working relationship with our in-house caterers, and build a positive team culture.
