The Bucklands at Highwic – a guided tour October 10, 2-3pm, 40 Gillies Avenue, Epsom Home to the family from whom Bucklands Beach gained its name for 116 years, historic Highwic still houses their legacy. Featuring artefacts recently unearthed at the property, this guided tour (part of the Auckland Heritage Festival) focuses on the history of one of Auckland’s founding families.
