Pride Events on Third Street Promenade June 17 to 19
Santa Monica’s Pride celebration continues this weekend with live events on the Third Street Promenade from June 17 to 19, hosted by Downtown Santa Monica, Inc. Events are free for the public and include Mortified Podcast (June 17, 8:30 to 9:30 p.m.) featuring members of the LGBTQIA+ community sharing their stories in front of a live audience; Angel City Market (June 18, 3 to 9 p.m.) an outdoor bazaar featuring hand crafted items from LGBTQIA+ artisans, Pride-themed goodies and activations; and Dancing with Dane (June 19, noon to 1 p.m.) where Samo PRIDE’s dance master, Dance Sorenson, will lead the high-energy dance aerobics class Dancing with Dane, suited for all ages and abilities.

Stand-Up Comedy at Aviator Nation Friday, June 17
Double Rainbow is a live stand-up comedy show featuring local favorites and performers seen on late night TV, Comedy Central, The Comedy Store and others. Presented every third Friday of the month at Aviator Nation in Venice. Doors open at 7:30 p.m., show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets $20, available online.

Culver City Garden Club’s 68th Annual Show & Plant Sale June 18 & 19
The Culver City Garden Club’s 68th Annual Garden Show and Plant Sale will feature a professional judged exhibition of homegrown plants, flowers, edibles and gardening-related photography, arts and crafts. The plant sale will feature a variety of popular and unusual plants, and there will be gardening workshops twice a day. Raffles will be held each morning and afternoon. Free to the public.

The Bungalow Santa Monica’s Night Market
Thursdays through September 1 The Bungalow Santa Monica’s Night Market presented by KCRW returns this summer to The Fairmont Miramar Hotel with an exciting new lineup of food vendors, beverage and brand activations, family-friendly activities, live DJ performances and celebrity guest bartenders. On the second Thursday of each month, local rescue organization, Wags & Walks, will host an on-site meet and greet for its family of adoptable dogs rescued from local shelters. Celebration of Caring Monday, June 20
The life and legacy of a longtime community advocate, a veteran volunteer and president of the RAND Corporation will be honored for the numerous contributions they have made to improve the lives of others at WISE & Healthy Aging’s annual “Celebration of Caring” event at The Broad Stage.
