Patio del Mar opens in Santa Monica

Hotel Casa del Mar in Santa Monica recently opened Patio del Mar, an al fresco bistro located just steps off the beach. The ocean-facing terrace offers guests an inviting and relaxing setting where they can enjoy lunch, dinner or sunset drinks accompanied by stunning views. The menu features a variety of dishes including fresh seafood from California and the Baja Peninsula, with items sourced from sustainable local purveyors and farms. Highlights include gazpacho; heirloom tomato, melon and burrata salad; grilled stone fruit salad; kale chicken Caesar salad; Dungeness crab avocado toast; Maine lobster rolls; beef carpaccio; shrimp ceviche; salmon tartare; and a daily selection of East and West Coast oysters.
