CITY OF MESA, ARIZONA ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Mesa is seeking a qualified firm or team to act as the Job Order Contractor for the following: JOB ORDER CONTRACT SMALL PROJECT LANDSCAPING CONSTRUCTION SERVICES, PROJECT NO. JOC-SPL19 The City of Mesa is seeking a qualified Contractor to provide Job Order Small Project Landscaping Construction Services. All qualified firms that are interested in providing these services are invited to submit their Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) in accordance with the requirements detailed in the Request for Qualifications (RFQ). The following is a summary of the project. The Small Project Landscaping Construction Services Job Order Contract will require a variety of general landscape construction improvement projects to include (but not be limited to): plants, trees, decomposed granite, irrigation lines, water valves, grass/sod, plant inventory, plant salvage, and other related landscape items or services as deemed necessary. A Pre-Submittal Conference will be held on March 26, 2019, at 8:00 am, at the Mesa City Plaza Building, Engineering Department, 20 E. Main Street, Conference Room 501, Mesa, AZ 85201. At this meeting, City staff will discuss the scope of work and general contract issues and respond to questions from the attendees. Attendance at the pre-submittal conference is not mandatory and all interested firms may submit a Statement of Qualifications whether or not they attend the conference. All interested firms are encouraged to attend the Pre-Submittal Conference since City staff will not be available for meetings or to respond to individual inquiries regarding the project scope outside of this conference. In addition, there will not be meeting minutes or any other information published from the Pre-Submittal Conference. Contact with City Employees. All

Public Notice CITY OF MESA, ARIZONA ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Mesa is seeking a qualified firm or team to act as the Construction Manager at Risk for the following: 1ST AVENUE IMPROVEMENTS – HIBBERT TO LESUEUR - PHASE 1 PROJECT NO. CP02791STS The City of Mesa is seeking a qualified Construction Manager at Risk (CM@Risk) to provide PreConstruction Services and complete Construction Services as the CM@ Risk for the 1st Avenue Improvements – Hibbert to LeSueur - Phase 1 Project. All qualified firms that are interested in providing these services are invited to submit their Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) in accordance with the requirements detailed in the Request for Qualifications (RFQ). The following is a summary of the project. The required tasks will be reviewed with the selected CM@Risk and defined to meet the needs of the project as part of the contract scoping. • Hibbert to Mesa Drive Reconstruct existing traffic through lanes, ADA improvements, connecting to the intersection improvements to be completed at Mesa Drive and 1st Avenue on the City’s Mesa Drive Phase II project. • Mesa Drive to LeSueur Reconstruct and narrow existing traffic through lanes, install raised landscaped medians, parallel parking stalls, curb and gutter connecting to the intersection improvements to be completed at Mesa Drive and 1st Avenue on the City’s Mesa Drive Phase II project. In-stall new street light bases as needed to accommodate the new street construction. • Install new underground utilities (water, storm drain, gas and electrical power) as needed to accommodate new street construction.

• Underground City of Mesa overhead primary electrical lines on Pomeroy at 1st Avenue and primary and secondary electrical lines at the intersection of Hibbert and 1st Avenue. • Install general landscaping from Hibbert to Mesa Drive. • Coordinate urban area improvements with the Developers’ adjacent to the project. • Coordinate with the proposed street and median improvements proposed with the City’s Mesa Drive Phase II Project. • Coordinate with the proposed 1st Avenue Landscape improvements proposed with the Mesa and Main Redevelopment project • Install 8” sanitary sewer in 1st Ave. between Pomeroy and Hibbert. Abandon existing 6” sewer near intersection of Mesa Drive and 1st Avenue and connect remaining existing sewer services to a new 8” sewer. • Provide flexible phasing for multiple construction areas. • The City may include other miscellaneous improvements on the project as needed. The estimated construction cost is $3,300,000.00. Contact with City Employees. Resumes for each team member shall be limited to a maximum length of two pages and should be attached as an appendix to the SOQ. Minimum font size shall be 10pt. Please provide eight (8) hard copies and one (1) electronic copy (CD or USB drive) of the Statement of Qualifications by 2:00 PM, March 28, 2019.
