Kiwanis Club of Carefree awards scholarships BY FOOTHILLS FOCUS STAFF

he Kiwanis Club of Carefree awarded $249,000 in scholarships and merit awards for 23 high school seniors during a recent ceremony at Cactus Shadows Fine Arts Center. The volunteers and staff at the Kiwanis Marketplace in Cave Creek made the awards possible.
