Can’t attend the wedding you’ve waited so long for? Is the travel time to far or not up to attending? Here’s the next best thing….Live Streaming your wedding can be as simple as setting up a tripod for your phone! Facebook live is a great host for all your friends and family.

Here are a few steps to Live Streaming your wedding!

Create a Facebook group for Guests who will attend online. Facebook Live seems to be the easiest platform to broadcast your wedding on. They’ve done a great job at making it seamless to live streaming from your phone. With a group, you can select to go Live for only your wedding group.

Create a schedule of events that you will broadcast. Stream your whole wedding instead of just the ceremony. The best part about live-streaming is the guests that can’t attend will be able to really enjoy the day and not wonder what it was like...Participants can really feel a part of the celebration. Designate a person to manage the live stream. You will want someone who can setup and manage the live stream, perhaps you can coordinate this with your wedding photographer/videographer. Setup tripod and camera mount, when doing this try and pick a discreet location yet close to your ceremony. When doing setup you’re going to want to ensure your venue has adequate WiFi and cellular service.

Allowing participants to comment is a great way for them to interact during the ceremony and reception. At some point you may want to print your comments out and save them in an album.
