DT Dobie has signed a partnership agreement with Stima Sacco, a leading financial partner in Kenya to offer vehicle financing for the purchase of Mercedes Benz cars, trucks and busses, Hyundai light trucks and Volkswagen models.

The agreement offers Sacco members up to 95 per cent financing with 12.75 per cent interest per annum for a period of up to six years through a direct check off system. A deposit of ten per cent of the value of the motor vehicle is required subject to a minimum of 100,000 shillings. The loan is available for both salaried and business members.

Peter Wanjala, Finance Director at DT Dobie said, “Asset financing has enabled more people to afford vehicles which previously seemed out of reach and boosted businesses especially during this post Covid era. This partnership with Stima Sacco will give their members the opportunity to own any of our prestigious vehicle brands, or commercial vehicles to build their businesses.”

“The DT Dobie local assembly programme has brought new car ownership within reach of many more Kenyans as they are attractive and cost-effective alternatives to buying used cars. The buyers have the satisfaction of knowing that these cars will have to be driven for many years before they reach the mileage of a used imported car.”

Speaking during the event, Rosemary Karanja (right) Stima Sacco Chief Manager Strategy and Business said, “Through this partnership with DT Dobie, we can offer unique solutions to our members to cater for their diverse motor-vehicle needs. This far, we have made it possible for individuals and business members acquire many assets with easy and convenient loan repayments and by making the process of loan application as painless as possible.”
