Keny Galleries cordially invites you to the opening reception for Holiday Treasures The works in this exhibition have been chosen for their aesthetic quality and range of expression. The contemporary works vary in handling, from the precise clarity of the silver point drawings of Lowell Tolstedt to the elegant, luminous porcelain odes to nature of Carol Snyder and the ethereal, abstracted paintings of Stephen Pentak. The historic works include the fluid and luminous Post-Impressionist watercolors of Alice Schille, as well as the earthy, expressively wrought lithographs of George Bellows and the wry incisive social commentary drawings of James Thurber.
