Looking after children is not easy. Although it’s exhilarating, it’s also exhausting. Here’s a little something for all mums (not forgetting dads as well) to relax:

Your favorite tea Chunks of fresh pineapple 1 Pear skinned, cut into chunks 1 Star fruit sliced 1 orange peeled, cut into chunks 1 lemon unpeeled and sliced

(Here I use 200ml of water to steep my favorite tea bags in because I like my tea strong but you can experiment and adjust to your taste accordingly. To boil the fruits, I use 1L of water)

Sit in the bath, use the lemon slices to rub your body. It cleanses the body and also helps to tighten pores. This also helps to smooth and whiten your skin. The smell of lemon refreshes and relaxes you.

Shower properly afterwards.

Points To RememberY •

You must remember to shower because the skin of the lemon contains furocoumarin, which if it’s still on the skin will react to the sun and causes the skin to turn red and later on into black spots. Do not use this if your skin type is dry and sensitive.
