he site is situated in one of the main streets in Isfahan which creates a linkage between the famous tourist site where the market and the Mosque are situated and the local resident area. The buildings situated in the zone B 16 are mainly for residental use and shops are situated along the main street. The buildings are not high rising, it is about 10 to 12 metres average in height, the streets linking in between the residential areas are narrow. Pedestrain spaces are used up a lot due to cars are able to accessed.

he area in red will be redesigned as a community sports centre in Isfahan. The sports centre will be situated next to the main street which can create a linkage between the residential area and the main street.
F
rom the image with google earth image, the bright red colour indicates the access of people from the residential area to the main street (light red colour). The design of the sport centre will take account of the separation of the pedestrain and the car users.
dv: Futsal Field is able to build on a roof of the sports centre, which can either be open area or semi open with designed shelters. The gym is also allevated to have much clearer view of the field or to the main street. Receptions and toliets are able to situated in both levels. The block for car park is now transformed into another type of secondary space, which can either be a weighting lifting or powerlifting room for experienced players, since these sports always favour the Iranian.

ressing the model by using acetate, opaque drafting film, coloured tracing paper, this makes the model remains its simplicity and neatness. Having opaque material as the surface material allows light and giving privacy to the users
in the sports centre. Opening panels created by coloured trace paper increase user’s accessibility and inner space and outer space around the sports centre will be used wisely.

he concept of breaking the sports centre into three blocks is trying to increase local residents’ mobility and fluidity of circulation in between the area of the main street and the residental area.

nter-crossing use of inner space and outer space can be created by having bridges and opening panels. Therefore users in the sports centre are able to use the smallest possible footpath yet accommodate all the required sports facilities and a fluid narrative of space can be expressed.

he shape of the sports centre are able to give local residents convenience and safety by providing a shortest possible pathway to reach the main street and car users and pedestrian will be separated by pathways through the design of the sports centre.
he space created in between the rock climbing wall and the 3 blocks of the sports centre can not only become a pedestrain precinct, also residents and children are able to use it as an area to rest and gather, through having a high porosity of building and outer surrounding area, the interaction between neighbours can be increased which increase the community’s unity and harmony.
