Purchase IWB software for your computer (Ink2Go is inexpensive–see back for URL). If you already have a license for IWB software on your computer, it will probably work. 2. Purchase Splashtop Remote or Air Display for the iPad. 3. Download Splashtop Remote or Air Display for the computer. (You only pay once.) 4. Create an ad-hoc network between the computer and the iPad. (Directions inside this brochure) 5. In your computer’s display settings change your screen resolution to 1024 x 768. 6. Connect iPad to the ad hoc network. (Directions inside) 7. Start Splashtop Remote or AirDisplay on the iPad.
All you need: 1. An iPad (even the first generation will work) 2. A computer with wireless (desktop or laptop, Mac or Windows) 3. Software that connects your computer and iPad over a private WiFi network setup between the two devices* 4. Interactive whiteboard software * * 5. Setting up an ad hoc, computer to iPad private network This is easy! You can do it. Just follow the steps that apply to your computer.
Mac: 1. Open the Apple menu and select System Preferences. 2. Click Network. 3. Click AirPort. 4. Under Network Name, select Create Network. 5. Give your network a name (this is what you will connect to later on your iPad), and a password if you wish. You can leave the channel option alone. 6. Click OK. 7. On your iPad, touch Settings, then touch WiFi and connect to the network you just set up.
Windows 7: 1. Go to the Start Menu and type wireless in the search field. 2. Click Manage Wireless Network. 3. Click Add. 4. Click Create an ad hoc network.

On your iPad, touch Settings, then touch WiFi and connect to the network you just set up.
