MY BIOGRAPHY
Jeff Justice is a sales associate with Summit Sotheby’s International Realty. He is one of Utah’s most experienced Realtors®, having successfully negotiated 700 plus real estate transactions and counting. Jeff began his real estate career in 2002 and continues to represent buyers and sellers globally with most of his work done in Utah’s Harvard/Yale, Sugarhouse, Federal Heights, Millcreek, and Holladay areas.
His sense of humor and refreshing honesty are major factors leading to the success he experiences with his clients, although he attributes much to his systems, dedication, and attention to detail. Through the years he has acquired expertise in the art of real estate negotiation, navigating the home inspection process, financing issues, and underlying loan processes, as well as being able to think outside the box in order to provide the most beneficial outcome for his clients.
Jeff’s loyalty to his clients has resulted in long-standing relationships and recognition both professionally and personally. When he is out with his family around town, chances are high that they will run into someone who is happy to recount the tale of their experience working together. His success as a Realtor® is also reflected in the accolades and awards he’s received, including Salt Lake Board of Realtors® “Rookie of the Year” and “Sales Person of the Year”, and is consistently named a Summit Sotheby’s International Realty Salt Lake “Top Tier” agent. Recently, Jeff was named in Real Trend’s “America’s Best” due to his impressive sales volume. He has also earned the professional designations, CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) and GRI (Graduate, Realtor® Institute).
Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Jeff holds a degree in Economics from the University of Utah. He is active in his community and loves Star Wars, good music, and the outdoors. Taking full advantage of Utah’s gorgeous natural resources, Jeff is an avid skier, cyclist, and backpacker. He recently knocked skydiving with his wife off of his bucket list. Married for over 27 years, he has two beautiful children and a loyal dog named Scout.

PREPARING YOUR HOME TO SELL general areas

• Clean the entire house and remove clutter (Vacuum, mop, clean all counter tops, and wash windows) • Keep all lights and lamps on. Be sure to turn on undercabinet lights and other decorative lights. • Replace all burned out light bulbs. • Light bulbs should be the same color. • Keep ceiling fans OFF for the duration of the photo shoot • Televisions & Computer Screens should be OFF for the duration of the shoot • Open all blinds and window coverings (Unless undesirable view) • Shutters should be open to expose the maximum amount of window but should not be drawn up completely • If your property has views that can be seen from the interior be sure to clean all windows and remove screens if possible. • Remove as many personal and family photographs as possible • Remove small rugs to show flooring

will we save money by listing our property ourselves? Do you believe your property would sell at a fixed price, or do you believe that it would sell in a range of prices based on the marketing, photography, real estate brand and negotiation skills of your agent? Having a professional, licensed and trained sales associate advocating for and marketing your property ensures a smooth transaction and for the highest market value possible. will you cut your commission? No. It makes me nervous if another agent has agreed to this. Why? In order to best market your property with digital, print and experiential advertising, our minimum listing period is 6 months. My recommendation is a year agreement so that you are included in Utah’s awardwinning real estate publication, Collections Magazine. This signature magazine drives qualified buyers from Utah and our key feeder markets. is it better to use a friend in the business? In today’s market, almost everyone knows one or two people who work in real estate.
