Operations and Development Assistant TIN Arts seeks a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual to assist the Operations and Development Lead in resourcing and delivering an effective, nationally-significant, inclusive arts programme. The role holder will work closely with the Operations and Development Lead in areas of work including customer service, programme coordination, some level of business development, publicity and online media together with managing the underlying administrative, financial and communication processes. Key responsibilities:
To be responsible for high quality customer service to all participants, acting as ‘first port of contact’ for TIN Arts in relation to exchange of information To maintain and manage administrative processes across all TIN Arts’ programmes, ensuring all information is kept up to date and accurate. To maintain and update content on www.tinarts.co.uk and social media platforms, ensuring information is relevant, high impact and up-to-date To liaise with external organisations and attend events as required To assist in routine, financial processes including invoicing and petty cash handling To assist in the development, planning, coordination and monitoring of existing and new programmes, projects and events To undertake general administrative duties as the ‘first contact’ for the organisation including answering routine and external queries, drafting correspondence, maintaining office procedures, filing etc To undertake any other relevant duties as may be requested by the Directors.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate through written application and interview the following essential qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience:
Educated to at least degree level standard or similar, relevant qualifications or experience Excellent organisational skills, including time management and the ability to produce high quality, accurate work to deadlines Strong ICT skills including demonstrable experience of compiling, using and managing information and data Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to write clear, well structured and relevant information The ability to negotiate with colleagues / external partners / agents to achieve positive results The ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
