HC Red Eagle 31E a son of Red Nan `049 who sold in the 2018 Sun Country sale at $8000. He is a full sib to the embryos selling!

Crooked Post Stockman 4Z

We purchased Red Nan 1049 in partnership with Martyn Moore from England, at the top of the 2016 Waukaru sale in Indiana. Some have called her a model Shorthorn female, as she is wide based, moderate framed, easy fleshing, superb uddered and sound in every way. Toby Jordan said that she was his pick as the best female ever offered from the Waukaru herd up to that time. She is also a full sister to Waukaru Orion 2047, who is the senior herd sire in the Waukaru herd. When we saw the Stockman bull calf she was carrying when we purchased her, it was a no brainer to flesh her to Stockman to make some more. Her 2017 Stockman bull sold for $8000 in the Sun Country sale last spring. The resulting calves will be 100% in the closed herd book in Canada. We will guarantee a minimum of 50% pregnancy rate at 70 days providing an experienced embryo technician is used. (2 pregnancies from the 4 embryos). These embryos are stored at Davis- Rairdan Embryo Transplants Ltd, Crossfield, AB and are exportable to most countries.

Waukaru Melita Rose 7048 A proven successful mating of the very prolific and highly fertile weebollabolla Theodore T85 daughter ,waukaru Melita Rose 7048 and Horseshoe Creek Free Spirit. I had the opportunity to purchase both with Grants downsizing of his herd, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to have this outstanding pair in my pasture. A longstanding and outstanding donor at HC farms Melita Rose has flushed embryos that have been sent to many countries. At 11 years of age she is as fertile and functionally sound as a 2 year old, maintaining her condition with no pampering. We flushed her this spring and she produced enough to share. Before you is a sampling of what to expect from this mating. When her Free spirit heifer calf hit the ground in February there was not much question as to how to flush her.
