Email Setup for Verizon Droid X / Droid 2 2010 Pictorial Instructions for setting up email on a Verizon Wireless Droid X / Droid 2 Smartphone
Items to note with your email account • If you use an external email cli client ent (such as Outlook or Thunderbird) you must make sure it is set to delay leaving your email on the mail server otherwise your phone wi will not retrieve email. • Realtyexecutives.com email is not a PUSH based service, IE it will consistently check for email only every 30min (Set by default, can be changed) Please note that decreasing the time between checking email can have a negative impact on battery life • The android operating system is very robust, offering the widest support for attachments than any other mobile platform, but is still limited. Please keep this in mind when checking email with attachments, as attachments may not display in the manor intended like on a computer. • Depending on the amount of email you receive though the day, please verify that your phone phone’s data plan is sufficient to avoid any carrier overcharges. It is recommended to go with the unlimited plan whenever possible.
