Upton is home to some of the most exciting and eclectic festivals the UK has to offer. Every year across most summer weekends, crowds gather to celebrate music, culture and the arts while raising money for local charities.

Woo Fest 7-8 July
Woo Fest is an award-winning multi-genre music festival for all ages, raising funds for St Richard’s Hospice, Worcester. Set in a beautiful location near Upton upon Severn, the event has gone from strength to strength since its launch in 2015, raising over £110K for the hospice. A wonderful weekend with quality music from amazingly talented musicians and 100% of all proceeds going to charity, what’s not to love! woo-fest.com
The biggest free blues festival in the UK set in the beautiful Worcestershire riverside town, Upton Blues Festival has grown from a tiny pub event in 2002 to something much bigger! Now, the event floods the town and hosts over 160 free performances playing to thousands of music fans over three days. Internationally renowned Drunken Monkey Rock Festival raises thousands each year for the Midlands Air Ambulance charity. Over the three days more than 50 bands perform an eclectic mix of rock including gentle acoustic sounds, cover bands of the greats, and innovative original music from the new up-and-coming. Rock out for charity this summer!
A sell out with the locals, Upton Sunshine Festival is the heart of England’s greatest family festival, taking place every August Bank Holiday weekend. Acts play non-stop to upwards of an 8,000 strong crowd across five stages. The line-up for 2023 includes Ronan Keating, The Proclaimers, Marc Almond and China Crisis – some big household names! There is non-stop fun for the kids all weekend, including pony trekking, Disney stage shows, circus shows, and even a special bar for the kids to order their own drinks and treats!
