We have more cats than humans in our house. It’s not unusual to discover live bats, mice & birds at home.

WHAT ARE THE VALUES THAT DRIVE YOU?

Tingdene provides continuous training and encourages development. As a single parent, job security and flexibility is paramount. I enjoy working with an eclectic team. The younger members of staff are full of fun, have plenty of energy and different perspectives, and the more senior members of the team have more life experience and are always happy to provide guidance. Every day is different.

WHAT IS MOST IMPORTANT TO YOU ABOUT WORKING IN THE MARINA INDUSTRY?

It’s a real pleasure to work at Racecourse Marina. Being close to the water is inherently calming. We meet all sorts of people from every walk of life enjoying the ‘holiday’ atmosphere.

WHAT DO YOU ENJOY DOING WHEN YOU ARE NOT WORKING?

I enjoy socialising, especially cooking and entertaining with friends. One of my pleasures is holidays, I have travelled extensively all over the world, with my favourite destinations being Antigua and Mexico. When I am home I enjoy spending family time with my teenage son Jack and my boyfriend.

WHAT IS YOUR HIDDEN TALENT?

I have an exceptional memory.
