healthcare projects skilled nursing home and modular mob design teamwork - 2019/2020 professional - HEALTHCARE NORTHERN CALIFORNIA CANNONDESIGN

1. the veterans home, northern califronia's largest skilled nursing home for veterans, has received state approval to design a new $300 million, 240-bed skilled nursing facility, to be completed by 2024. 2. A NATIONAL HEALTH CARE PROVIDER SELECTED CANNONDESIGN TO DEVELOP THE MOB CENTER OF EXCELLENCE(COE) PROGRAM IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE CLIENT AND INDUSTRY PARTNERS TO DEVELOP A MODULAR MOB THAT CAN BE RAPIDLY DEPLOYED NATIONALLY. THE PARTNERSHIP WILL SUPPORT OVER 6,500 EXAM ROOMS WITH ANCILLARY SERVICE ACROSS ALL REGIONS OF THE US WITH IN THE CLIENT'S HEALTH SYSTEM, SIGNIFICANTLY EXPANDING THE ORGANIZATION'S AMBULATORY CARE REAL ESTATE PRESENCE. this project takes a lot of 7.0 acres, consisting of two parcels. the proposed building area is around 148,000 sf, and it has four stories. two parking areas are located at two sides of the building to minimize the walking distance. a service is provided at the north of the building.
