คํานํา คูม่ ือเรื่ อง “English for Communication in Thapra Palace Library : ภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อการสื่อสาร ในหอสมุดสาขา วังท่ าพระ” เล่มนี ้ เป็ นส่วนหนึ่งของกิจกรรมการจัดการความรู้ของหอสมุดสาขา วังท่าพระ สํานัก หอสมุดกลาง มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร ใน “โครงการเล่าสู่กนั ฟั ง” จัดทําขึ ้นโดยมีวตั ถุประสงค์ เพื่อให้ บคุ ลากรมีความรู้ ความเข้ าใจในภาษาอังกฤษที่จะนํามาประยุกต์ใช้ ในการปฏิบตั ิงานในห้ องสมุด และเพิ่มพูนทักษะการฟั งและการพูด ภาษาอังกฤษในการติดต่อสื่อสารกับผู้ใช้ บริการชาวต่างประเทศได้ อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ เนื ้อหาแบ่งเป็ น 4 ตอน ดังนี ้ ตอนที่ 1 ศัพท์ น่ารู้ ประมวลคําศัพท์ที่เกี่ยวข้ องกับการให้ บริ การในหอสมุดสาขา วังท่าพระ ได้ แก่ วัสดุ สิง่ ของเครื่ องใช้ ภายในห้ องสมุด ชื่อฝ่ าย ชื่องาน รวมทังการให้ ้ บริการด้ านต่างๆ ตอนที่ 2 วลีน่าจํา รวบรวมวลี ประโยคที่จําเป็ นและมีประโยชน์ตอ่ การสื่อสารกับชาวต่างประเทศ ได้ แก่ การทักทาย การขอความช่วยเหลือ การตอบรับการขอความช่วยเหลือ การเสนอความช่วยเหลือ การถาม-ตอบเรื่ อง การถามหาสิ่งของ การขอให้ รอ การกล่าวขอบคุณ การตอบรับคําขอบคุณ การถามเส้ นทาง การบอกทาง การถามตอบเรื่ องห้ องนํ ้า การอําลา กลยุทธ์การแก้ ปัญหาการฟั งไม่ร้ ูเรื่ อง และคําถามชวนคุย ตอนที่ 3 บทสนทนา จัดแบ่งบนสนทนาออกเป็ น 7 สถานการณ์ ได้ แก่ การสอบถามข้ อมูลทั่วไป การ สอบถามวิธีการสืบค้ นข้ อมูล การยืม-คืนหนังสือ การยืมวิทยานิพนธ์ การยืมโสตทัศนศึกษา การเข้ าใช้ ห้องวารสาร และการถามหาวารสาร ตอนที่ 4 แบบฝึ กภาษาอังกฤษ รวบรวมคําศัพท์และบทสนทนาในรู ปแบบของภาพพร้ อมไฟล์เสียงจาก เจ้ าของภาษา เพื่อให้ บคุ ลากรสามารถนําไปฝึ กทักษะการฟั งและการพูดได้ ด้วยตนเอง หอสมุดสาขา วังท่าพระ สํานักหอสมุดกลาง มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร หวังเป็ นอย่างยิ่งว่า คู่มือเล่มนี ้จะเป็ น ประโยชน์ ต่อบุคลากรของหอสมุดและผู้สนใจในการพัฒนาทักษะทางภาษาอังกฤษและสามารถนําไปปรับใช้ ใน สถานการณ์จริงได้ ตอ่ ไป หอสมุดสาขา วังท่าพระ 14 กันยายน 2554
