WHAT IS ROOKIE RUGBY? Throughout the summer, TIRF employs high school and post-secondary students through the support of Canada Summer Jobs, to deliver a non-contact flag rugby curriculum. The curriculum, developed by Rugby Canada and grounded in Canada Sport4Life’s Long-Term Athletic Development (LTAD), uses easy to understand games to develop basic fundamental movement skills that children need to play rugby and participate in sports.
