Recyclers of scrap paper exist in all countries and are providing collection services companies, separation, storage, classification and relocation of waste (scrap) paper and cardboard pre and post consumption. Voith is the technology leader for efficient, resource-saving tissue production. In this way, one of the last developments is the ATMOS technology for premium tissue paper. For the first time, premium quality tissue can now be produced from 100% recycled paper. Moreover, machines with ATMOS technology need just 60% of the energy of comparable plants and require a quarter less fiber. Another example is the new NipcoFlex T. This new shoe press excels in reducing production costs and thus improving the papermaker’s market position. With NipcoFlex T, up to 5% higher dryness can be achieved compared to a configuration of suction roll pressed against the Yankee or earlier generations of shoe presses. All this is possible without compromising paper quality. In addition, a production increase of 20% or thermal energy savings of up to 20% are feasible due to the higher after-press dryness.
