Hong Kong Discerning the Times or Things of the Coming Ages

We do not have to live blindly in the current age or be unprepared for the age to come. In the Bible we have seen where God prepares His people to live in the current age and the ages come. In Daniel 2: 21 it says, “He changes times and seasons; he removes kings and sets up kings; he gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding.” The Greek word for change is Allagi, means shift or transition. I believe, there is a massive change, shifting, transition on earth, which moves us from glory to glory and faith to faith, where the will and purpose of God will stand forever. A question to ask, we must answer is, “time shifting, is it for s set up or for a setup?” What do I mean by “set up” or “setup?” Set up is a verb and refers to the action of putting things in order or arranging them. Setup is a noun and means the way in which something is arranged, where somebody does something instantly for you. Here are some biblical examples of setup.

1. Mary was set up to marry Joseph, but God setup her womb to deliver the “Messiah.”

2. Paul was set up to go to Damascus, but God setup his journey to become an Apostle to the Gentiles.

God changes the times and seasons for His purpose and will, so we should be prepared at all times. Let’s check the times we are in, where everyone is busy preparing for some task. Think about the word preparation, it means, the action or process of making something ready for use or service or of getting ready for some occasion, test, or duty; something that is prepared specifically, a substance made ready for use. Here are a few key preparations needed for shifting your set up or setup!

SHIFTING TIME SET UP FOR SELF-PREPARATIONS

Time to set up ourselves in preparation for our spiritual growth; it takes time to prepare. Time is defined as the duration in which all things happen, or a precise instant that something happens. For he says, “In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.” I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation. He has made everything beautiful in its time; He has also set eternity in the human heart, yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him.” The word for “times” (Greek chronos:) refers to the general timeframe of events in God’s plan, whereas the word for “seasons” (Greek kairos:) carries the meaning of fixed or special occasions. If you have an to remember you set your alarm clock. It gives the time you start to act or do something

IKMA Hongkong! here on earth and there are set times for everything. For example, there is a season for a baby to walk; a seed to sprout; or a bird to fly. Everything has its own time for a purpose and we are the ones who set those times in our environment.

SHIFTING TIME FOR SELF- DISCERNMENT

Whoever is wise, let him understand these things; Whoever is discerning, let him know them. For the ways of the Lord are right, And the righteous will walk in them, But transgressors will stumble in them. Lets take a look for the word discern. The Hebrew term is biyn, meaning discern. Biyn can mean to mentally separate or distinguish. It means to understand, deal wisely, pay attention to, regard, consider, notice, perceive, inquire, and discern. Discerning means, to see and identify by noting a difference or differences; to note the distinctive character of; to discriminate; to distinguish. Philippians 1:9-10 says, “And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve the things that are excellent, in order to be sincere and blameless until the day of Christ;” The times and seasons are a set up, but there is also a sudden setup in God’s perfect plan and will for His purpose. During this time and season, you must show up, because you are setup for this season. For this, I give all praise and honor to our Abba Father. ✽
