A Modernist View of Luxury: The First St. Regis Branded Residences in Southeast Europe
Ever since its foundation in 1904 at the corner of Fifth Avenue and 55th Street in the then-most exclusive residential area of New York, St. Regis, one of the world’s most renowned and luxurious hotel brands, has become known for choosing only the finest and most prestigious locations around the globe for its hotels and residences. For more than a century, St. Regis has defined modern glamour and sophistication as the leading luxury lifestyle hospitality brand with an uncompromising commitment to excellence and providing impeccable services of the highest class.
Belgrade Waterfront Development welcomes The Residences at The St. Regis Belgrade, Southeast Europe’s first St. Regis branded residences. The Residences will open in December of this year and will be located in Belgrade Waterfront, the most modern and prestigious quarter of the Serbian capital. The Residences at The St. Regis Belgrade are situated in Kula Belgrade, the tallest building in Serbia, from the 14th to the 39th floors, offering a refined modern-day interpretation of the St. Regis legacy to everyone who is looking for the ultimate contemporary luxury, where every detail is incomparable.

Minimal, airy, and crisp are a few words to describe the Glass House genre present in the 168-meter-tall architectural masterpiece designed by the renowned international architecture company Skidmore, Owings & Merrill Global (SOM). The façade of The St. Regis Belgrade and The Residences at The St. Regis Belgrade is composed of almost 14,000 glass and other panels, and it is one of the few buildings in Europe that rotates 90 degrees through only 10 floors. In that way, the building “twists” in one part, resulting in the now widely recognizable rotated silhouette that symbolically represents the nearby confluence of the Sava and the Danube. The glass façade’s gentle gradient reflects the limitless blues of the Sava River and the sky that unfolds before it and epitomizes the allure of timeless design.
Reflecting the distinctively modern shape of the building, the 220 residential units are divided into three collections: Signature, Grand, and Sky. Located from the 14th to 19th floors, the Signature Collection offers slanted windows that provide a one-of-a-kind residential experience. From the 20th to the 35th floor units from the Grand Collection are positioned, and each of them offers a stunning view across the city through floor-to-ceiling glass windows. For those who want to discover the world of extraordinary living and have the stars above Sava at their fingertips, from the 36th to the 39th floor there is the Sky Collection of residences with an exquisite atmosphere for experiencing the beauty of Belgrade from a completely spectacular perspective.
Residents will also enjoy access to the bespoke services and exceptional amenities of The St. Regis Belgrade hotel, which is also scheduled to open in December, such as the signature St. Regis Butler Service, and The St. Regis Bar, which will serve the legendary St. Regis Bloody Mary cocktail, with its own Belgrade twist. Besides that, the unique spa center, which includes a swimming pool, a state-of-the-art gym, sauna, and massage rooms, offers residents a space to indulge and recharge.
The first 11 floors of Kula Belgrade are reserved for The St. Regis Belgrade, only the sixth hotel of this brand in Europe.
