Ramadan Recipe: Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
1 teaspoon baking soda 1 cup softened butter 3/4 cup light brown sugar 2/3 cup granulated sugar 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips 1 egg
Baking tips
Bake the cookies for two minutes less than the recommended time and let them cool., they will continue to bake at room temperature . This will also keep your cookies soft the next day. Store in an airtight container to keep them soft.

1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 2. In a medium bowl mix together the flour, baking soda and the salt. Then put it aside. 3. In a large bowl beat together the butter, sugars, vanilla extract and beat until smooth. then mix in the egg until combined. 4. Mix the flour mixture into the wet mixture until combined. then Stir in the choclate chips 5. Using a large cookie scoop and drop 3 inches apart onto cookie sheet. 6. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Then let the cookies sit on the sheet for 10 minutes to cool down
