TNLA HAPPENINGS TNLA STATE BOARD OF DIRECTORS WERE HARD AT WORK DURING PLANNING SESSION AND BOARD MEETING THIS MONTH

The TNLA Board of Directors gathered in College Station on November 10-11, 2022, for their annual Planning Meeting and Board Meeting.

While planning key initiatives for the coming year - membership clarification and expansion, education diversification, TNLA & technology & monetization of TNLA. The board also discussed other issues such as supply chain shortages (specifically pot shortages), industry winter prep and more.

The City of College Station and Hotchkiss Insurance were lunch sponsors for the two days.

We were honored to host for dinner key faculty members from Texas A&M & Texas A&M AgriLife. While the Board and faculty enjoyed each other's company and caught up on current activities. TNLA was able to present information on how the industry was positioned within the agriculture community and our appreciation of the partnership between us. We also emphasized there is still a lot to accomplish in the years to come.

Finally, we were able to say a goodbye and thank you to Dr. Dan Lineberger for all the many contributions he has given all of the student' s lives he has touched, and industry he has inspired over the years. Dr. Lineberger retired from his position as head of the Horticulture Dept. Dan is still teaching Nursery Greenhouse Management. We were also able to welcome Dr. Amit Dhingra to the TNLA family.
